It's now Friday and my little brother is coming over, god I miss him. He's always been there for me and I hated that I had to leave him behind with my mum but he was young and well I didn't plan on moving to London plans kind changed.
"Okay so I've sorted the living room out, it's got the sofa bed out with blankets and pillows, Oh! And I also got loads of kiddy foods. What else- " if you can't tell Lucy loves my brother, she thinks of him as her own son.
"Lucy, calm down he has everything here already we just need to pick him up." I explain to her, trying to calm her down. It's been a couple months since I've seen him, and I am nervous no clue why but I am.
What if he doesn't like me anymore.
I sigh and sit down on the stool in the kitchen waiting for it to hit half past two, me and Lucy decided to take today off so we can have a long weekend with him and plus I needed today off, no way I could go back in the office after yesterday. Nope, no way.
"Can't we just get him now!" Lucy moans.
I just laugh at her "we will be an hour early" I say to her as she flops onto the sofa dramatically.

Okay so I am nervous now, I'm waiting at the train station now for my brother Xander, and today feels different. I know it's probably nothing but my head likes to play tricks and panic me when there is nothing to panic about.
I glance up and see that people are coming out of the train, my eyes scan for a small boy, my little brother the boy who's always had my back, and I see him.
"Your not so small anymore" I say to him as a begin walking up to him.
He hugs my straight away, "not so tall now are you Lils" he replies
I laugh and that's when I look up and see her. My hands shake, what is she doing here.
"Xander" I ask not removing my eyes off of her.
"Yeah" he says, slowly turning to see what has my attention.
"Why is she here" he wouldn't have let her come with him, he knows. Surely.
"Lily- I am sorry, she must have followed me. I promise I told her I was stopping at Ethan's this weekend. Don't be angry. I am sorry, I'll talk to her. " he explains quickly, I grab his arm to stop him from going to her.
"Hey, it's okay. We will just leave now, don't worry about it." I take a long breath and help him with his bags and rush out to Lucy's car.
Lucy waits outside and as soon as she sees us I know she knows something is off just by looking at I our faces. Without asking anything she gets back in her car and drives off to the apartment.
After a half hour journey back home, Lucy decided to break the silence.
"Well little bro, welcome to Disney land." I hear Xander laugh at her comment because Disney land was his favourite place as a child.
"Thanks lucky" he says back, from the first time they ever met they treated each other like siblings and I couldn't be any happy because they are my only family. I have no idea why he calls her lucky only he knows, no matter how many time both me and Lucy try to ask him he always says the same "I always thought her name was lucky". Which is a complete lie.
"Alright, plan of action for today is we set you up in your lovely sofa bed, go out to dinner, then the rest of the weekend is your choice" Lucy announces as we all walk through the door.
"Alright, I'm busting for a pee anyways." Xander says bluntly.
"As vivid as always" I push him through the door.
Once he's gone i know what Lucy is going to say.
"So... what urm happened in there." She asks quietly.
"My mum followed him" once I says that her face completely changes.
"Oh shit, how did she find out." I couldn't answer that question myself.
"No clue." She comes up to me and hugs me tightly.
"Everything will be fine." She whispers into my ear.
I really hope they will be.
