Looking For Eren {Eremin AU}

"Oh my gosh, I'm sorry I though no one was here" I blurted.

"Well you were wrong"

I looked up to follow the voice, and see who the foot belonged it. I stopped. He was beautiful. It was a boy who looked around my age, he had gorgeous green eyes and fluffy brown hair. He sat with his slim legs stretched out, and was reading a book-The Great Perhaps.

"Take a picture it will last longer" he said interrupting my thoughts. My cheeks instantly went red.

"I-I wasn't! Not at you! I mean, I was looking at your book"

"What, you mean The Great Perhaps?" He gave me a look.

"Yeah I love that book!"

His looked up at me with interest, and I felt like melting under his gaze.

"You must have a great taste in books then"

"Who wouldn't love that book?"

"Losers" he chuckled.

He then pulled a packet of cigarettes out of his pocket, and my eyes widened.

"Um, you're not allowed to smoke are you?"

"No ones here idiot"

I felt stupid while I just stared at him. I felt so disappointed. He was so attractive but the smoking ruined it. Why would you pay to slowly kill yourself? But for some reason, I just couldn't stop talking to him.

"What's your favorite bit about the book?"

"When that guy died"

"What? How?"

"He was annoying" he laughed, and I did too.

We talked for about 10 more minutes about the book, and I loved every second. He was so beautiful, and I just watched his lips move the whole time he spoke. His cheekbones are really great too, and his hands look so strong...

"Hey are you even listening?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Y-yes of course!" I didn't want him to think that I didn't want to talk to him- I really did.

"Okay... well I'm gonna go now-"

"Wait why?"

"Things to do, people to see"

My shoulders sank when he said that. What if he was in a relationship? Before he left, he turned to face me.

"I never got your name"

"Armin. Armin Arlert. You?"

"Eren" and with that, he left.
