Emotional Rollercoasters

Bakugou rolled his eyes but stepped up, Lena following closely behind. Lena was intrigued at her friend's choice of classmate but she trusted him and was willing to cooperate even if it was with the ass-hat next to her.

 Benny looked to the class and spoke up, "Remember ya'll, my quirk is Trade n' Transfer. I'll demonstrate Trade first and then transfer. Bakugou?" Benny motioned for Bakugou to step closer and soon he felt some energy leave before an overwhelming wave of anger and anguish covered him. 

He stumbled a few steps backwards, his eyes wide with shock and as he looked around all he could think of was how angry he was. The smallest things ticked him off, Lena's gym pants were slightly torn, Denali's facial expression was of worry and it annoyed him, he felt as if she was pitying him.

     "Denali, what's with your face? Fix it, I don't need your pity!" he growled out, shocked at his own words when she gasped at his demand. He looked at Bakugou and could see confusion yet calmness on his face and he, for a second, wondered if he himself always looked like that. He was a pretty calm guy and never really let things get to his mind very easily but with Bakugou, something triggered in him that day they first met and now he was letting his anger out. 

     "Benny, what's your issue? Is the anger really that strong?" Denali retorted, annoyance clear in her voice and posture. Benny traded back, trembling slightly as he looked around at his classmates, their faces a mixture of shock, annoyance, and awe. He quickly went up to Denali, pulling her into a tight hug and apologizing repeatedly. He had never meant to hurt her but that anger, there was just so much and he couldn't imagine what Bakugou felt like on a daily basis with so much buried inside him.

Normally it's just emotions that can be traded but now Benny wondered if the personality could be traded as well. How that emotion affects that personality and how that personality reacts, Benny is normally calm with his anger but Bakugou is crude and loud with his. Bakugou stumbled slightly, shaking his head and looked around. The brief feeling of peace and calmness was something he never experienced before and for a second, he kind of wished Benny would trade again. 

Denali huffed but accepted the apology and hugged him back before stepping back and socking him in the shoulder. He yelped and gave her a glare but she just giggled and winked, her smirk growing. He looked to Lena and Bakugou and shook his head, pointing to Kirishima and beckoning him.

     "After what I just felt, I don't want Lena to endure that. Kirishima, take Bakugou's spot please?" he knew Lena could handle her temper but he would never wish that kind of anguish on anyone especially his best friend. Kirishima nodded and stepped up as Bakugou stomped off, grumbling about stupid quirks and weak minds. Benny had them face each other as he felt his energy leave once again and it wasn't long before he noticed a difference. 

Lena was giggling which was normal but at the same time she had some edge to her. She smirked, digging her heels into the ground and putting up her set, she was feeling frisky. Kirishima burst into a fit of giggles and put his stance up too, the confidence rolling off of him in waves. From what Benny knew of Kirishima, he was cocky and always ready to spar but he was a nice guy and very caring. Yup, personalities were definitely traded now as well which meant his quirk evolved. 

Seeing the giggles and change in air meant he was feeling Lena's emotions and Lena's immediate smirk and set shift meant she was feeling Kirishima's. It was working and after a few minutes he felt the energy flow back into him as his quirk turned off. His quirk could last up to 3 hours if he didn't take it back himself so in a fight his victim was at his mercy when it came to how long they would be stuck with the effects of his quirk.
