A Quirky Bunch

A few days had passed and the four had quickly settled into their dorms and with their new classmates. Lena sat up, rubbing the sleep from her eyes, and looked around at her new surroundings. She had decorated as much as she could the day before as they didn't have much class time since their teacher was called away for something important.

Her bed had emerald green, satin sheets with a black and green comforter on top and numerous stuffed animals at the head of the bed. She was 21 but she loved her stuffies and she's had the majority of them since elementary school and so she made sure to bring the most important ones with her. She got up, opening her mint green curtains, and cracked the french doors that led to her balcony open slightly to allow a smooth breeze to enter her room.

Lena loved the view from her balcony even if it was only of the forest on the edge of the campus but they made her instincts feel at home. She allowed herself a few minutes to gaze into the forest a little longer before getting ready for class and not even fifteen minutes later she was walking down the hall to Denali's dorm. As she raised her hand to knock, the door burst open revealing a giddy cat girl and she jumped slightly, startled but laughing at her bestie. They took the elevator down to the main floor and were greeted by Ric and Benny smiling brightly at them.

"Good morning beautiful ladies! How are my favorite furry friends?" Benny asked, his voice loud in Ric's ear and therefore receiving a playful shove away from the winged creature. The girl's giggled as they began their walk to the main building, their trip full of laughter, jokes and horribly done voice impressions. Once arriving to class, they chose some seats in the back and plopped their bags down before joining their different friend groups.

Lena walked over to Sero, Kiri and Kami, the nicknames she decided fit them the best and to which they happily responded. Denali skipped on over to Mina, Uraraka, and Tsu saying good morning and quickly joining their chatter. Ric steadily made his way to Todoroki and Tokoyami while Benny slid into Ojiro and Shoji's conversation a few desks away.

"So, like--what exactly is your quirk, Lena?" Mina quipped as she circled the wolf girl, poking and prodding at her tail and reveling its softness. Lena laughed and flicked her tail at Mina, tickling the pink haired girl before giving a brief explanation of her powers.

"Oh that's cool, everything a wolf can do, so you're a power type? I mean wolves are pretty powerful, right?" Uraraka asked in awe, looking around at the others in their group. She smiled, curling her tail around her waist and gently finger combing it as she answered more of their questions. Footsteps were loud as their teacher, Mr. Aizawa, entered the classroom and set his books down on the table and looking up, he made eye contact with all four of the newcomers.

"Transfer students, though I'm sure you have had time to get to know the class, please come up front and formally introduce yourself, your quirk, and one thing about you. After that we will head out to the courtyard so you can show us your quirks firsthand. Any questions?" He asked gruffly, his eyes looking like he hadn't slept in a week. They four nodded and stepped forward to the front of the room and turned to the class. Denali stepped forward first with a broad smile nearly breaking her face as she spoke,

"Hi, my name is Denali Orina! I am 21 and originally from England but I moved to Florida when I was 4, though up until now I would visit London every summer, hence why I still have a bit of an accent," she leaned back against the desk before continuing. "My quirk is Neko: I can do pretty much everything a cat can do and as some of you have seen I do have some feline tendencies and instincts. I use my claws and teeth a lot when fighting and I am an expert in martial arts.

"Hmm, something about me? Well, I absolutely love bubble tea and can count backwards from 300 in three languages!" Denali took a deep breath after her speech and she excitedly rocked back and forth on her heels as claps erupted in the class.
