As sunshine streamed through the cracks in the curtains, I quickly pulled the covers over my head. It was too early for brightness and I just wanted a few more minutes to sleep in, my tail flicking back and forth as I snuggled deeper into my comforter.
Faint voices echoed through the hallway before stopping at my door and I groaned as I sat up, mumbling a soft, "Come in."
"Why hello there sleepy head, how was your night?" Denali asked as she poked her head in, Mina and Jirou's faces appearing above hers as they peeked in. I yawned and stretched, rubbing my eyes and shrugging as I spun around to stand up, the cold, hardwood floor jolting the rest of me awake. Their footsteps appeared next to me as I looked out the window, now enjoying the warmth the sunlight brought.
"I actually slept pretty good last night, no waking up or anything. I slept hard though so I feel heavy and I'm hungry as hell." I replied, groaning as I felt my stomach churning in hunger. Denali giggled and headed over to my closet, rummaging through the clothes before pulling out a mint green crop top and blue skinny jeans. I smiled, she knew my style all too well and I nodded in thanks, grabbing the articles of clothing before stepping into the small bathroom to change.
"We'll meet you downstairs, hurry chica!" Mina called out as the door closed behind them, leaving me to my thoughts as I began changing. I fumbled with my hair, brushing the curls before deciding on a half up, half down style and some light makeup.
Walking into the common room, I took in the humorous sight of Kirishima and Kaminari in the middle of an arm wrestling match, though I think Kirishima was winning. Todoroki, Tokoyami and Iida were lounging on the sofa chatting while all the girls were sitting on at the small table, plates in front of them as they ate. Bakugou was yelling at Midoriya about something, the green haired boy looking like he wanted to be anywhere but there and Shoji and Sero sat on the floor, playing some card game. It was nice seeing what looked like the majority of the class all lounging together, they may have all been doing their own things but it was still comforting.
"Good morning, ya'll!" I called out as I made my way to the kitchen, choruses of 'heys' and 'good mornings' ringing out as I walked by before I began rummaged through the cupboards. I was feeling oatmeal and all I needed was the brown sugar, 'I know I saw it in here somewhere, where is the pesky sugar?', I wondered, growing frustrated. I hadn't noticed the footsteps at the entrance until a voice spoke up, pulling me from my avid search for the sugar.
"Hey, looking for something?" I turned to the owner of the voice, meeting not one but two pairs of red eyes. Bakugou cocked an eyebrow at me, waiting for my answer as Kirishima took a step inside, opening the cabinet closest to the arch way and pulling out a small bag of brown sugar.
"Here ya go, MoonBeam!" he said, tossing me the bag and winking. I knew I had seen it somewhere in here, I smiled and caught it before turning back to my bowl of oatmeal.
"I was actually looking for the brown sugar, Bakugou so thank you, Kirishima!" I replied, reaching for the box of oatmeal and holding it up to the guys, a silent offering to which they both nodded yes.
I pulled out two more bowls and added the oatmeal and milk into them, popping them into the microwaves before turning to the two heroes in training.
"So, how are your mornings? How'd you sleep, Kiri? Spicy Pomeranian?" I smirked as Bakugou's glare bore into me. I laughed, shaking my head and leaning forward, grabbing an apple from the bowl on the island. There was something so cute about his angry face that I realized I was starting to view him a little differently now.
