11. Flower crown.

We all held our breaths, waiting for Claude's reaction. Diana looked nervous, her hands started to twist around the flower crown.

"Ah it's okay if you don't want it!" She said, hiding the flower crown behind her. It seems she thinks that the flower crown displeased Claude. It's like she's trying to clumsily hide away evidence. What. Are. You. Doing. Claude. "I could bring it back to my teacher-Eh?!"

Claude had bent down, allowing her to place the flower crown on his head.

"Oh okay." Diana smiled sheepishly as she placed it on his head "There! It suits you!" She said.

Claude blushed and looked away awkwardly.

"You look gorgeous your highness!" Felix cheered him on. Claude glared murderously at him but he didn't react. He was in enough pain with Lilian trying to untangle all his hair from the flower crown after all.

"Hey Diana!" I said as I reached into my pocket "I have something else for you too!"

"Um..." She hummed and sat down on the grass, picking up some more flowers "I'll decline." She stated "You've already lost your pretty necklace because of me and-"

"Oh. Don't worry. This isn't expensive (why did I say that it sounds so wrong)." I shrugged, pulling out the pink bracelet, ignoring the misplaced word I just said  "I actually brought this last year, the day we met. It reminded me of your eyes!" I turned to Claude "Claude, show her yours."

He pulled up his sleeve and revealed his blue bracelet obediently.

"See? I give them to many people." I giggled and attached it to her wrist while she wore a puzzled face "It matches you. Pink is your color."

She stared at it in awe.

"You bought this l-last year?" She stuttered.

Yes I know. It is surprising. I kept it a whole year just for her.

"Yeah!" I nodded "See? I'm wearing your flower crown and you have my bracelet!" I turned to Lily and Felix "I'll get you guys some the next time I come across a friendship bracelet stand!" I promised "I don't have any grey or blue ones presently."

That's because I had to give my last blue one to Anastacius...

"It's beautiful!" Diana laughed, raising her hand in the air "Thank you so much!"

She stayed silent for a bit before looking at us with sincerity.

"I am very glad I got to meet you again today, Penelope and Claude. I'm honored that you still remembered me after a whole year." She turned to Lilian and Felix "And Felix, Lily, I'm glad we could meet. Thank you so much for being my friends!"

I don't remember who did it first but Lilian and I both hugged her while the boys stayed out, staring uncomfortably.

"Diana." I said "I have a favor to ask."

She seemed surprised.

"Of course! Anything after all you did for me today! But what could I possibly-"

"Write to me." I said "I want to keep contact. It's very annoying to only see a friend once a year. We can't talk much. Just whenever you have time, send me a letter to the estate of the Judiths. I know you'll be on tour frequently so I won't be able to write back since by the time the letter would arrive, you'd have already switched places. But whenever you stay longly at a place, tell me and you'll receive a response!"
