When I got out of the shower the next morning I had a text.

Sara: bring a swimsuit to change into

Me: what are we doing?

Sara: I don't actually know yet but better safe than sorry

Me: what time do you want me to pick you up?

Sara: an hour?

Me: okay.

Now that I knew when I was going to be seeing her again the time moved to slowly; watching her from outside her house and actually being with her were two completely different things. I craved any contact I could get with her even if it was just sitting across a room talking to her with no physical touching it would be enough. Exactly an hour from when she texted me I was pulling up in front of her house. I had barely stopped the car before she was jumping in. "Where to?" I ask wasting no time pulling away.

"I'm actually not sure, I want to do something crazy. Something that i have never done before that way I will always remember today."

I looked at her and smiled, "I might have something that fits the description. It's a bit of a drive though."

"Will it be crazy and unforgettable? Will it be exciting?"

"I'm not so sure exciting is the word," I said driving onto the highway, "It might be for you though I don't know. But I can promise that it will be different."

"Okay."

"Don't you want to know what it is?"

"No keep it a secret, it will just make it more exciting."

We drove for about two hours in silence while I pretended not to notice Sara watching me, I'm not sure what she was looking for but she just seemed to get more frustrated the longer we drove. Finally we got to a residential road and I pulled up in front of the house. "Stay here," I said getting out.

I jogged up the front walk and didn't even have the chance to walk before the door was thrown up. "It took you long enough to get here," Beth said with a smile.

"Shouldn't you have known that?" I teased.

"Oh shut up boy and give me a hug," Beth drew me close and hugged me tightly. She was a middle aged blonde woman and thin as a twig. She was also one of the last witches on earth who still have The Sight. The Sight was the ability to see the future, or well what might be the future, nothing was set in stone but she could see what most likely would happen. The only things she knew for sure were the big things, the things that have been coming for a long time and nothing could change. She could also see the past as clearly as if it were her own, she once told me that the past was easier it had already happened so you didn't have to worry about changing the outcome by saying the wrong thing. "Well what are you waiting for, go get here. That is just rude to keep a lady waiting in the car, didn't your momma teach you any manners."

I grinned sheepishly and ran back to the car opening Sara's door, "Okay let's go."

"Where are we?" she asked getting out.

"Okay so this i going to sound weird, but this is my mother's friend's house. Apparently she is some amazing psychic and when you said something crazy this was the first thing I thought of."

She laughed, "Sounds perfect. I've never done this before. I'm sure it will be great."

"Beth this is Sara. Sara this is my mom's psychic friend Beth," I introduced when we walked up her porch steps.
