It wasn't you

"Unnie!" Jennie yelled as she laughs seeing the girl holding the melting ice cream, "You're messy!" She saw Jisoo's chocolate smeared face light up.

Jennie was sitting in her bed as she gets a message, a voice file that she looked at.

It only read, she opened it before connecting her speaks to her phone. Her parents weren't home at this time, work-related stuff like always-

"Are you home alone?"

She sat up as if a ghost talked to her, She looks at the speaker and frowns as maybe it was her imagination?

"Hi, Jennie."

Or not.

"I'm guessing you confused? Let me tell you." She heard her chuckle as if it was funny. What was so funny?

"You're the only one that I told everything to, After all, we're both older."

"You see, I was bullied"

"Haha!" The girls laughed as they push Jisoo down the stairs, she fell face-first causing her chin to bleed.

"Every day, Lisa knew. I'm surprised she didn't tell you, but it got worse."

"They forced me."

"G-get away!"

"Horrible people, Selfishly I wanted them all gone. But I never told you, remember that time in p.e?"

"Hey, are you okay?" Jennie glanced overseeing a bruise on her shoulder, Jisoo smiled and nodded.

"Clumsy me."

"Here!" Jennie hands her an ice pack, the one that was for her hand but she didn't care.

"But your-"

"I'll live" Jennie smiled as Jisoo looks at her intensely.

"I remember you always telling me nice things and always by my side. Thank you."

Jennie just laid back down and stared at the ceiling as Jisoo was playing with her hair,

"People are horrible Jen, they'll do anything to push you or eat you alive. I'm sorry for everything. I- I should've been a good friend."

Jisoo's tears fell on her forehead as Jennie looked at her plainly, you were perfect.

"I should be there when you graduate When we all live our lives, and even when we have children! I'm sorry I can't see that with you. I'm sorry for every pain I gave you, Both of you. I'm a failure of an Unnie aren't I?"

"But, I have a small request."

Jennie blinks as Jisoo's fingers braid her hair, she sat up as Jisoo looks at her. She listened and got out of her room to work on something, Jisoo looks at the purple speaker and stared deadly at it.

By the time Thursday arrived, Lisa was with Rosé as they walk to the bleachers to sit. Everyone has to go to the event on the basketball ball court, everyone from their grade.
Rosé looks around for Jennie, but nothing. Lisa sat there until the lights go off, soon after a screen appeared and a video was played.

It was Jisoo getting attacked, Rosé couldn't believe her eyes as Lisa looked away.

Jisoo getting-

Jisoo getting jumped out of the school, the bathrooms, even in front of the school. It soon flashed white as Jennie was there, she stood there with angry eyes and with a microphone.

"You all killed my best friend," Jennie says with a harsh tone, the teachers tried their best to cut her mic but it wasn't working.

"Every one of you!" She shouts, "THIS NEED TO BE SAID!" She snaps at the adults.

"KIM JISOO DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO EVERYONE! SHE HELPED EVERY ONE OF YOU WITH YOUR SHIT. B-but you all didn't care." Jennie's voice breaks, "You didn't care about her, you selfishly cared about yourself! You bullied her through everything and for everything!"

"You! Bullied her for not giving you answers!" She points someone out, "and this school's staff?!? They didn't do shit about it!" Jennie says.

"And you know what? You all are hearing because you have to, I saw the posts about being relieved after her passing. But what you didn't know everyone-"

"Jisoo's smart."

"Because as of now, please say hi." She raises her hand as it shows the Livestream, "Every one of the board members is on here listening to the truth! Because we all deserve to know. Every post was tracked and every student was as well." Jennie smiled.

"Why are you doing this?!" A girl spoke up in front of Rosé and Lisa as they looked at her as if she was crazy, "Just leave us alone!"

"Leave you alone?" Lisa says bitterly, everyone was silent as Rosé looks at her shocked, "You're the reason she killed herself!"

"She never hated you or said anything bad about you!" Lisa shouts in her face, "yet she dared to forgive you all each damn time!"

"You weren't there to see her dead body and if you were you wouldn't have cared." Lisa says sternly, "You all deserve this."

"Jisoo told me to do this." Jennie spoke causing Rosé to look at her confused, "She told me to keep her promise and that's what I'm doing." The police came in as they had a long list of names being called out. The Livestream ended and was shared as Lisa, Jennie, and Rosé met up.

"Jisoo told you?" Rosé asks as Lisa and Jennie looked at each other, they didn't know they knew but-

"Yeah," Jennie said, "here." It was a flash drive. "She told me to give it to you."

Rosé carefully took it and looked down at the handwriting,

"Park Chipmunk"

Jisoo peaks from her shoulder and looks at it before smiling, "thank you, Jennie." She looks up at the girl as she was talking to Lisa.

The last one left.

"So, I'm guessing she told you all?" Rosé asks as Jennie and Lisa looked at each other, "Please don't lie."

"Yeah" Lisa answered, Jisoo held Chaeyoung's hand as she took a sharp breath.

"You'll be fine," Jennie says, "I promise."

"I want you to expose everything, everyone deserves to know. Including Chae, You don't have to do this if you want. But promise me that you'll be there for them, Promise me that you'll fill in my shoes."

"I know it's not easy but I'll guide you. I promise."
