Someone We Used to Be

I Love you.

Laughter was heard as everyone in the school danced outside, a small little dance was held on the campus tonight. The winter colors of people's clothes glow against the soft dim lights, Jisoo and Chaeyoung danced together alone as Jennie and Lisa were with the crowd.

"Why didn't you wanna join?" Chaeyoung asks as Jisoo breathes in the sweet vanilla scent, her hands resting against Chaeyoung's waist.

"Too many people." Jisoo says as Chaeyoung looks off in the distance, "are you complaining?"

"Never" Chaeyoung smiles to herself as Jisoo did the same, both were so damn obvious. Chaeyoung's arms wrapped around the girl's neck as they both sway to the music, they both enjoyed this.

Jennie looks around as Lisa was in some kind of battle, she walks to the bathroom before hearing giggling. She peaks behind the wall and saw Chaesoo dancing with each other, she could see how they look great together.

Jennie smiles warmly before leaving to use the bathroom, Chaeyoung looks over but wasn't met with Jennie. Just the air.

"Something wrong?" Jisoo asks as Chaeyoung looks back at her,

"No."

"Where are they?" Lisa asked as Jennie just smiled,

"Dance with me, yeah?"

"Sure?" Jennie pulled Lisa back to the dance floor as they joined the others in the slow dance. Jennie rests her head against Lisa's chest as Lisa smiles softly,

"Do you think, Chaeyoung likes Unnie?"

"Like?" Lisa laughs, "they're practically inseparable, it's like they're married."

"Married?"

"I mean, have you seen the way they always look at each other?"

Rosé held onto Jisoo's body as she sobbed loudly, Jennie saw how broken she looked as Jisoo was being unresponsive.

"Nothing can stop them."

"You think that?" Jennie asks as Lisa nods,

"I know so."

"Hey!" They look overseeing Chaesoo joining them, "what did we miss?"

"Hmm? Nothing much." Lisa answered giving Jennie a look, "so lovebirds, wanna ditch this place?"

"To where?" Chaeyoung asks as Lisa gave it a thought,

"Just a drive."

"I'm down," Jisoo says and Jennie agreed, they leave the high school and head to the car to drive off somewhere the road will take them.

Yet, here we are. At some diner, while people their age were partying, having sex, or something else. Chaeyoung dipped her fries into her shake as Jisoo was coloring the kid's menu, it was meant for Lisa. Jennie was happily eating her burger and Lisa was drinking her shake,

"Shouldn't we act our age?" Lisa questions as Jisoo looks up at her, "I mean, we don't do drugs or par-"

"Why would we do that?" Jisoo questions, "you never need a drink, drug, or sex to have fun."
