Someone We Used to Be

You're still on my mind.

Rosé sat in park as the winter air hits her, she closed her eyes and enjoyed the cold air.

"I'm sorry" Jisoo says as Rosé sat there, "I'm sorry for the pain I've caused." She didn't say anything else.

"What did you mean?" Rosé asks as she looks over and Jisoo wasn't there,

"Did you mean it?"

I did.

After the park, she went home. It's been 4 days since Jennie exposed everyone. She saw the flashdrive untouched as she was scared to even touch and know, but she had too.

She grabbed it and took off the cap before turning on her computer and putting it in, she saw the file labeled
"To Chaeyoung ♥️"

It loaded until she played the video-

"Say hi!" Jisoo's voice was heard from behind as Rosé shyly waved as the other two smiled.

"Are you practicing today?" Jisoo asks as she motions to the guitar,

"Yeah." Rosé says happily.

"I knew how much that performance meant to you." It was Jisoo, wearing glasses and in her red flannel pajamas.

"I'm sorry." Rosé looks at her and her room as she saw it never changed.

"You probably hate me don't you? Do you? Because I would hate myself too."

"Don't say that."

"I grew up sad my whole life, I mean my parents left me, I was bullied heavily, and yet I never told anyone."

"I always looked strong even when I wasn't at my best, I remember you trying to make me open up but I didn't."

"Chae, I'm sorry for everything. You probably found my body didn't you?" Jisoo suddenly asks, "you know, the stars are pretty tonight." Jisoo grabbed the camera and pointed it at the sky, there four small stars shined.

"Beautiful, aren't they?" She asks, "You're the last person that needed to see this aren't you?"

Jisoo smiled and clapped as Rosé finished her song and looked into the crowd, their eyes found each other as Rosé's heart skipped a beat. She grabbed her guitar before looking away with a smile, she stood up and bowed as everyone cheered.

"I love you." She blinks and hears Jisoo's voice, "I loved you, but you don't understand do you?"

"I'm sorry." Rosé says as Jisoo chuckled,

"It's okay, you'll understand soon. Like Jennie and Lisa, you'll see soon."

"I know you'll realize it too late but it's fine, I hope you'll be happy in life."

"So please do me the favor of keeping that smile."

"I promise"

"Oh? It's snowing!" Jisoo turns the camera, it cuts off before it shows her making snow angles in the front of the house.

"I didn't expect it to snow!" Jisoo laughs, "Are you enjoying the snow Chae?"

"Unnie!"

She heard as the camera showed the three walking towards her, she saw how herself tackled Jisoo in the snow as the other two began to make snowballs.

"You're too heavy!" Jisoo wheezed out as Rosé smiled brightly, "you're not letting go are you?"

"Nope."

"Figured" Jisoo's face turned pink as she felt snow on her face, She looks up and sees Lisa smiling evilly at her.

"Yah!" She shouts, as Jennie hits Rosé, both of them stood up and collected snow before throwing it at them.

"You're dead!" Rosé shouts as Jisoo tackled Lisa to the ground, a fun night it was.

The camera cuts off before the video shows an error sign.

Rosé took out the flashdrive before she sighs heavily, her radio plays a song. That same song Jisoo told her to sing-

It repeats again...
And I don't why, why you pass by me again

She turned around and heard Jisoo's softly singing the song as she did her homework.

And I talked to myself for a while

Saying, "I don't mind, I don't mind"

Oh, I just don't know why

Why do you pass me by again?

Why are you still on my mind?

I honestly thought I was fine...

She looked into the crowd of people and found the only person that was stunned,

I'm reminded of you again

But I can't stop thinking about you.

It ended as Rosé cried to herself.
