INT. ETERNIA ARCHIVES - DAWN
Randor, Marlena, Adam, Adora, and Catra walk through a very large lobby with a massive armillary sphere that projects starmaps in the center. Adam yawns.
ADAM: Any reason why we're out here first thing in the morning?
Adora looks at Randor and Marlena. Randor sighs.
RANDOR: Look, last night was weird, to say the least. And I'm gonna go ahead and say it.
Randor turns to Adora.
RANDOR: It's weird that you look so much like us!
Marlena lets out a sigh of relief.
MARLENA: Oh God I was thinking that all night but I didn't wanna say anything!
Adam laughs.
ADAM: I mean, sure it was obvious, but c'mon. That can't be anything more than a coincidence, right?
Marlena and Randor look at Adam, concerned.
Adam smiles nervously.
ADAM: Right?
They reach a doorway where Duncan is waiting. Randor and Duncan shake hands.
RANDOR: Thanks for meeting us here.
DUNCAN: Are you ready?
Randor sighs.
RANDOR: No...Let's get started.
INT. OBSERVATION CHAMBER - DAY
The lights turn on, revealing a futuristic white room on the other side of clear glass and a series of consoles.
ADORA: What is this place?
DUNCAN: The Memory Chamber. It was created as a way to help people to work through their trauma and make peace with their pasts, but it has other uses.
Adam removes a pair of headpieces from a console. He hands one to Randor, and the other to Adora. Randor puts on the headpiece, fastening it around his forehead. Adora does the same, but struggles to fasten it.
ADORA: Wait, how do I-?
ADAM: The button on the right...
Adora presses the button, and the headpiece fastens around her forehead.
ADORA: Oh, thanks...
Duncan hands Adam a tablet displaying readings from both Adora and Randor's headpieces.
DUNCAN: All readings are within acceptable tolerances. Keep an eye for any abnormalities.
Marlena turns to Randor, stroking his cheek.
MARLENA: Are you sure about this? Revisiting old memories can be...it can be painful, not just for you.
Randor holds Marlena's hand.
RANDOR: I'll be fine, we all deserve to know the truth...I only wish it was under different circumstances.
Adam looks at his father, concerned that everybody knows something he doesn't.
DUNCAN: We're ready when you are.
Part of the glass partition opens into the white room.
Catra holds Adora's hand.
ADORA: No turning back now.
INT. MEMORY CHAMBER - CONTINUOUS
The glass partition closes behind Adora and Randor. They hear Duncan's voice over a loudspeaker.
