I woke up to a whole bunch of texts. I could easily predict who they were from, too.

All the girls I gave my number to last night, Kendra...worst of all, my kidnapper.

I turned the brightness down, my eyes are way too sensitive this early.

I groggily scrolled through message after message. 'Are u okay?' 'OMG, wtf happened..' 'Girl, u totally left me hanging, what's going on?' I replied with 'nothing, just a little sleepover scare, sorry.' I didn't really know how else to react to that. 'My kidnapper found out where you live, so he can pretty much kill you anytime he wants. Hehe. Oops. Silly me.' They would probably think I'm absolutely insane.

Then, I landed upon another message from another phone number. It wasn't a blocked number, like my kidnappers had been, but it was unknown to me.

hey, Blaise, just want to confirm this is your cell number? ~C

I quickly replied as my face grew pale.

who is this? ~B

I tapped my finger along the number, trying to familiarize it. Another message popped up.

Sorry! This is Collin from school. I'm supposed to take you on a date next Friday. ~C

My mind instantly reverted back to Collin. Right before I bolted out the door, they set me up with Collin, I remember now.

Oh yeah, can't wait! ~B

I hoped I didn't sound too clingy or desperate. Just a little fear of mine.

Same, but I was wondering if I could take you out earlier, say tomorrow? It turns out I have basketball practice next week, so I wouldn't be able to make that date ~C

Tomorrow? Was I really ready for that? You know what, be confident. I am ready.

Sounds good, pick me up at 5? ~B

He answered with a simple smiley face, which I believed was his way of saying 'yes'.

My first date? Oh gosh. Please don't turn out the same way as my first sleepover.

I was making myself a sandwich when Cameron bolted down the stairs. He looked completely furious which made me back up against the kitchen counter. I hoped he didn't notice me, but I'm the first thing he looked at.

"Are you crazy?" I looked around the room to register that he was talking to me. I don't recall doing anything 'crazy', so I don't know what he's talking about.

"What?" I asked, biting into my sandwich.

"You're gonna a freakin date with Collin!" I was more confused than ever.

"How did you know that?"

"I...um...I read your messages." My eyes widened.

"That's invading my privacy!" He threw his hands up in the air, like I was a hopeless case.

"Yeah, well he's a player and you should cancel the date." I shook my head, before realizing something.

"You're jealous." I stated. Cameron's face turned red, but it disappeared within seconds.

"No...I just don't want you getting hurt. That's why I texted Collin and turned your date with him into a double date with Anna." I nearly choked on the sandwich. Double date? Hell no!

"What? No! Not with Anna! She's the one who stole my clothes and made me run around the school naked! How could you still be friends with her? Ugh...I can't believe you would do that to me! I just wanted one date with a guy, but you had to ruin it! I hate you!" I involuntarily said, regretting it right after. I didn't hate him, I just hated what he did. It was selfish of him to do what he wanted, not even thinking of me. I ran up the stairs to my room and slammed the door.
