1 week later and I'm finally recovering from the bathroom incident.
I haven't received any texts, threats, or run ins with my kidnapper. Maybe this means he's finally giving up. Maybe this means he's done with me. Maybe I can finally be free.
"Hey, baby." Cameron placed a kiss on my cheek and sat next to me on the couch. His arm was wrapped around my neck, as we continued watching another episode of Vampire Diaries.
I yawned, resting my head on his chest and he wrapped a strand of my hair around his finger.
"You're adorable, boo." Cameron whispered in my ear when I started falling asleep.
Suddenly, Cameron's phones ringtone (the train whistle) and like always, Cameron and I both yell...
"Train!" We've done it ever since I set his ringtone alert to that. We threw our heads back in laughter, which made me feel a lot more awake than before.
Cameron stood up and got his phone.
Me, being me, casually eavesdropped...I can't help it.
"No, I haven't told her yet...I have to eventually...its not something you just come right out and say, it's a big deal...yeah, I'll see you later, but I'm not telling her until we're done with whatever we got to do...okay, I'll sneak out of the house later on after dinner of something...okay, bye." He hung up, and I immediately sat back on the couch to act like I wasn't listening.
Oh my god. Is he seriously cheating on me? Why does he need to sneak out of the house? What isn't he telling me?
"Hey, sorry, my sister..." He pointed towards the phone, chuckling nervously.
"You don't have a sister." My stomach dropped twenty feet once I realized this. How could he do this to me? I thought he was over his heartbreaker ways...guess not.
"Did I say sister? My mind is a little stressed lately. I meant mom, that was my mom." He sat next to me again, but this time I refused to let him touch my hair.
"Cmon, babe." Cameron sighed, rubbing his forehead.
"Don't call me 'babe' right after you lie directly to my face. I can't believe you would do this." I stood up from the couch, throwing the pillow on my lap ferociously to the ground.
"How about we have dinner together tonight? I'll make it myself, I'll even set up candles and all that romantic stuff." I scoffed, placing my hands on my hips.
"Is that before or after you sneak out?"
I can officially say, I feel like I have power in my veins. I've never felt so alive!
Yeah, that's right. You've been busted. You've been more busted than the ghosts in Ghost Busters. Feel ashamed, Cameron Johnson.
Cameron stopped talking and just looked deeply depressed.
"That's what I thought..." I coughed awkwardly, and walked up the stairs to my room.
He can come talk to me when he's ready to be a man.

An hour passed...
Then, another hour...
It's currently 6:30 pm. I wasted my entire day in my room, waiting for Cameron!
I should've listened to the quote "life's too short". I'm not sitting around anymore.
I was about to exit my safety place, when there was a knock on my door.
I fiercely strutted over to open it, ready to give a whole sassy look.
