Cameron's POV:
I was laying bed, staring at the ceiling. I was listening to the ticking sound of my table side clock and wondering where it all went wrong.

I thought we were so happy. How could she say she doesn't love me?

A pang in my heart caused another tear to fall down my cheek. I never thought a girl could ever put me through so much pain.

Damn, Blaise, how could you do this to me?

I continued to just silently lay there, until I heard a noise approach my door. It sounded like footsteps and I knew it was Blaise. I secretly hoped she would knock on my door and say she was kidding about this whole thing. I wanted her to kiss me like she does and say how much she loves me. Unfortunately, the footsteps echoed away and there was only a small noise of something sliding under my door.

I sat up in bed and saw an envelope on the floor. Without hesitation, I stood up and grabbed it.

I ripped open the envelope and pulled out a letter that was neatly written. Instantly I knew the handwriting belonged to Blaise.

My eyes scanned the paper.

Oh. My. God.

She didn't mean anything...

I was so stupid to think she was actually breaking up with me. I wiped away the tears on my cheeks and continued to read.

No, no, no.

She's going back to her kidnapper.

I have to stop her.

I ripped open my bedroom door, dropping the letter on the ground. I ran to her room and searched inside.

The drawers were still full.

Her phone was still on the table.

Her makeup was still on her desk.

But the only thing missing was her.

I left that room and ran down the stairs. There was no time to waste. I had to find her.

I looked outside on the front porch. There was no Blaise.

I went onto the front lawn, and looked around. There was no Blaise.

And finally, I ran to the back of the house. I hopped the fence, my heart pounding and head sweating.

Anxiously, I peered out into the darkness, hoping to see her light brown hair and gorgeous smile looking back at me.

She wasn't there.

I collapsed onto the ground, breaking out into tears. It's too late, she's already gone. I failed her.

And then, suddenly, there was a noise. Like the cracking of a tree branch. A shimmer of hope sprang through my body.

I stood up and noticed a dark silhouette venturing forward. It was Blaise. I could tell by the way she was walking and how her hair swayed back and forth with each step.

"Blaise!" I called out, but she couldn't hear. As I began running towards her, I noticed her enter a cave-like structure. That must be where her kidnapper is.

"Blaise! Don't go in there!" Once again, she doesn't hear me, and closes the cave door behind her. The last thing I saw was her small, fragile face staring out. I swear we made eye contact, but it was hard to tell from this distance away.

I continued to make my way towards the cave. I have no idea what I was gonna do when I actually reach it, but I have to do something to save her.

After running what felt like a mile, I stopped in front of the entrance. Nervously, I put my hand on the door handle, wondering what I should do now. Call the police? Go into the cave and rescue her? Cry and scream?
