After Wei Wuxian signed all the documents that were needed to take back all of his rightful properties, it was already past noon. Jun Wu asked Wei Wuxian to have lunch with him but Wei Wuxian declined, since he needed to go to his apartment and meet Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe there. He already called them to pack up and take everything out since he was going to move to the Lan's apartment complex, Jun Wu had arranged for someone to pick up his stuff and everything. It's scary how efficient Jun Wu's work was, but Wei Wuxian did not complain.

"Thank you, for your help." Wei Wuxian shook Jun Wu's hand. He was very happy with the efficiency of this lawyer and planned to use his service again in the future if the needs arose.

"You are welcome, Mr. Wei. Should I prepare a driver for you?"

"No, I'm just going to take a cab, you know, walk down the memory lane for the last time, before everything changes." Wei Wuxian did not worry since although his apartment was on the edge of the town where most of the working class resided, the environment and the people were nice and there was almost no crime there other than a few pickpockets. Maybe it was also thanks to the youth center that Wei Wuxian helped funding to let the children there have some kind of positive activities to let out steam. He even sponsored quite a number of talented children up until high school. So yeah, he didn't have anything to worry about.

He got out of the lawyer's office, hailed a cab, and gave the driver his apartment address, which was around twenty minutes drive in the traffic. He thought about how he's going to miss the kids when he moved out, but he could always come back to play with them, and teach them how to play guitar. He would always make time for them, no matter how busy he was.

He was back at his own apartment within thirty minutes he was out of the lawyer's office and saw that Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe had already taken care of his stuff. Now, the only thing left was to close the apartment and return the key to the supervisor, a stern old man who lived on the first floor.

Wei Wuxian locked the door after double checking everything, and he knocked on the supervisor's place. The door opened in a few seconds, as if he was already waiting near the door for him, and it caused Wei Wuxian's heart to be filled with warmth. Although the man looked like he was about to bite your head off, he often helped in the youth center, and he sometimes left homemade super spicy chili sauce that tasted like heaven in front of his door.

And he was also the one who took Wei Wuxian to the hospital when he was so depressed and popped one too many pills to be able to sleep, because of his family situation. And also that was back when he first broke up with Lan Wangji, the only person who held him together. He didn't mean to kill himself, it's just that he was having difficulty sleeping with just one pill. Thank god the supervisor was coming to his apartment to check for the water leakage complaints from his neighbor one floor down. That was when he found Wei Wuxian, inside the overflowing bathtub, almost drowned to death. He remembered how freaked out Shen Qingqiu was when he went to the hospital, and he swore he would never do that again.

It was different now. He was stronger, and he would not let those weaknesses come and take over his mind again. Not when he had something to live for, and friends who truly cared about him. Like this grumpy old man.

"Old man, I came to return the key to my place." Wei Wuxian gave it to him with a tear that threatened to fall off his eyes. "Thank you. Thank you for everything. And although it may not be much, please take this." Wei Wuxian gave him the cheque for the first and last month of rent that was returned to him.

"Silly kid. Why would I need that?" The man harrumphed but then his voice softened as he touched Wei Wuxian's arm. "You take care of yourself now, okay?" But he still refused the cheque.

"I will. Now, please take this, because I want to buy a huge quantity of your super spicy chili sauce. This is for the deposit, and I will pay the rest after you finish making them." Wei Wuxian put the cheque in the supervisor's front pocket.

"How many bottles do you need?" He looked like he was amused and tried to entertain a mentally challenged kid.

"For a starter, I will need one thousand jars. How long will it take for you to make it?" Wei Wuxian grinned. The chili sauce was really really good, out of this world even, and he planned to introduce it to the outside world. This man was a genius.

"Wh–what? One thousand jars? Are you out of your mind? I thought you're just a poor musician, what do you want with one thousand jars of my chili? This isn't funny anymore kid." He shoved the cheque back to Wei Wuxian but Wei Wuxian stopped him. It kinda stings to hear that the man in front of him thought that he was a poor musician. Well, in a sense, he was a poor musician, since his money, royalty, etc, were taken by the Jiangs and barely left him with a means to live.

"I'm deadly serious, old man. I'm going to introduce your chili to my fans, and hopefully we could work together to produce this food of gods soon." Wei Wuxian grinned at him.

"Your fans? You sure you have one thousand fans?" The old man was skeptical, after all he thought that Wei Wuxian was a poor and struggling musician, and one thousand fans were some kind of wishful thinking.

Wei Wuxian felt like he was literally stabbed in the heart by those harsh remarks, but he only coughed and smiled at the old man.

"Don't worry about it, old man, if push comes to shove, I will sell your chilli myself. In the middle of the busiest street in the city. Naked." Wei Wuxian patted the old man's back reassuringly.

"Well, that's surely a marketing success since I've seen your dingdong and I bet those chili sauces would sell like hotcakes." The old man snickered like he remembered something funny.

Wei Wuxian cringed when he heard the dingdong talk, but he only chuckled. Leave it to the old man to take a positive look at his misery.

"Now that the selling part is agreed upon, can you finish them in a week?"

"Yeah, come back in a week around this time. I'll get it done for you." The old man finally relented and he pocketed the cheque. "I wish you all the luck boy."

"So do I, old man, so do I."
