While the prince was sleeping, he dreamt of his mother picking wildflowers from the royal garden. Her white silk dress laid beautifully in the green grass and the sun was shining over her doll like skin. She spoke a few words but they were hard to understand. Hyunjin tried to listen to those words but he couldn't hear them, he could only see his mother smiling at him like it was the last time she would see him.

His eyes opened slowly, he felt his body completely stiff but somehow comfortable. The young prince looked around and could tell that he was no longer outside or in his quarters but in a place he couldn't recognize.

Maybe I'm in heaven. The boy thought to himself.

He quickly remembered the cloth that was supposed to be tying his hair up, making his hands search for it and a sigh was released from his mouth once he found it in the same place— the prince couldn't dare to lose the last thing his mother gave to him.

He looked through the room but it was quite dark so he couldn't see much. Hyunjin only viewed the large bed he was staying on and the huge window next to him which was slightly open.

The boy carefully lifted his torso so he could sit, which hurt him to the point he groaned painfully. He circulated his eyes though the gloomy room and gulped when some thoughts came through his head.

He didn't know where he was or whom this house belonged to and he could be in danger.

The prince looked down to his body to see a different shirt on him and felt something wrapped around his head perhaps to stop the bleeding. He slowly stood up, but held to the bed frame as he felt like passing out again. Hyunjin moaned in pain as he felt his stomach ache, both with hunger and bruises and made his way to the window.

"What should I do?" He whispered to himself, gazing what seemed a forest in the dark night. "Should I try to jump?" The boy asked again, bringing one of his hands to the window glass door and opening it more, feeling the winter breeze brushing through his face.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Suddenly a deep voice was heard, sounding almost like a growl, making the prince jolt and turning to face where that voice was coming from.

He glared the entire room only to find a set of flashing blue eyes staring at him as if he were a prey.

"W-who are y-you?" The boy stuttered in terror, with his eyes widened and his mouth slightly opened, then he took a few steps back but couldn't go too far because his back bumped into the window frame.

"I'm the owner of this palace." The stranger's voice seemed so dreadful that gave the young prince shivers down his spine.

The boy gained some courage and tried to speak."W-what do you want?"

"From you? Nothing."

Hyunjin gulped with his answer but got his hopes up. This stranger maybe didn't want to hurt him but how could he know that?
