A week passed since the horrible incident that blew off Hyunjin's royalty reputation. He didn't remember much, only that he dressed himself with a dress and that he vomited on Chan's favorite boots, which made him groan in pain everytime he thought about it.

This whole week the prince has been doing chores and helping Felix with dinners. His relationship with Chan didn't change much, although he still hated him, he seemed more gentle towards the boy, considering the puke thing. So, Hyunjin patted himself in the head because he did something that somehow made the leader hate him less.

Some people still hated him too, however they would joke around not only about him but about Chan too, which made him feel less embarrassed.

Spring was almost arriving and today, him with Minho and Felix, were going to the town to buy some groceries.

They were about to jump to the horses when a whistle was heard, making them search for the sound.

"Wait for me." Changbin yelled to them, running towards his horse and jumping on it.

"Oh great." Felix mumbled to himself, rolling his eyes, making Minho and Hyunjin quietly chuckle.

"I heard that." The older growled which made them silent.

"Why are you coming with us?" The freckled boy spoke again.

"Chan asked me too. Because he knows that you're too friendly with him." Changbin answered and pointed to Hyunjin.

The boys once again, couldn't do much about it so they let him join them.

An hour flew by and they were in front of the city gates. It was a particular sunny day, with barely any clouds in the sky and Hyunjin noticed wildflowers growing beautifully around the gates, which made him softly smile remembering that spring was around the corner.

Before they entered the city, they covered themselves with their capes and then walked inside. This time he kept his eyes to the ground, not wanting anyone to see him.

"Let's be quick." Changbin said and they began to walk to the various food tents that were displayed in the market.

Felix began to pick up some vegetables while Minho helped and the prince and Changbin just stood there, beside them.

"Want me to buy anything?" The younger asked to Felix, wanting to help him.

"Can you go to the spices tent?"

"Sure." Hyunjin said with a smile and started to walk towards the tent. His eyes met several spices, some he already knew and began selecting a few that were on a list Felix gave him.

"That'll be all." The boy said, extending his hand to give the old man the money and before walking out, screams were heard.

"P-please! Don't take her!"

The prince moved his eyes to where the sound was coming from, seeing a few horses and men with black capes. Another set of screams were heard and this time the boy decided to walk towards the noise.

"You have to pay your debt to the king."

Hyunjin got a bit closer only to witness a man, he knew quite well, grabbing a girl's hair.

"The king's men are here..." He whispered to himself, lowering his head a bit but still watching them.

"She's just a child!" A woman screamed from the top of her lungs and the man that was holding the girl, devilishly laughed.
