When Louis stops in front of Harry's house four hours later, he grabs the envelope that's lying on the passenger seat, and makes his way towards the front door.

He's nervous. He just spent four hours driving, thinking only about the green eyed man, worrying about if he's okay. He's not sure what Harry had heard, or even worse, seen. All he knows is that Harry was definitely at his office and the uneasy feeling in his stomach has him thinking that he screwed up. Even though he didn't do anything, really.

He turns the knob when he gets there and is surprised when he finds the door locked. So he leans down and lifts the welcome mat, knowing that that's where Harry normally puts the spare key, sighing when he doesn't see it. So he stands back up and and knocks on the door. Nothing. He knocks again and this time around hears the footsteps of someone approaching the door.

"Who is it?" He hears Harry's voice, and a wave of relief washes over him.

Harry's okay.

"It's me Haz, it's Louis." He answers, and waits for Harry to open the door, but he doesn't. Instead he gets a "Go away." followed by a loud sob before the footsteps starts fading away.

Harry's not okay.

"No." He knocks again. "Harry, open the door please." Three more knocks. "Let's talk about this, please." He pleads and knocks again. "I'm not exactly sure what you've seen or heard, but please just open the door so we can talk about it." He tries again, not even sure if the green eyed man can even hear him anymore. So he knocks again, a little louder this time. "Harry. Please." He tries. "Just please open so I can explain. It's not what you think." He starts, and as soon as the words leaves his mouth, he realizes something and panic sets in.

How did he not realize this sooner? This is what happened to Harry a few months ago when he walked in on his ex busy with his assistant. Harry thinks he's cheated on him. "No!" He exclaims to no-one in particular, and knocks again. "Shit! Fuck! No! Harry please open the door. Please. Please let's just talk about this. It's not what you think, Harry, please." He begs, his voice cracking.

It's quiet for a moment, and then he hears Clifford barking from inside, scratching on the door. Footsteps can be heard again and then a faint "Come on Cliff. Let's go sleep." Before the scratching and barking stops.

"Harry, please. Please just open the door." He tries again before the footsteps starts fading once more, but he doesn't give up. "Harry! Please! Come on! Please just let me explain." He tries knocking again. "Harry, ple-"

He gets cut off when the door flings open, and his eyes lands on a furious-looking Niall.

"Niall, I have to talk to Harry." He says and tries pushing past the Irishman, but Niall is not allowing it. "Niall, please, I need to see him." Louis says again properly meeting Niall's eyes for the first time. They're filled with, is it disgust? Sadness? And suddenly Louis feels small. "Niall." He chokes out, tears in his eyes.

"What part of 'go away' did you not understand?" Niall sneers, and before he knows it, he steps back, pulling his arm back and with full force, pushing it forward, connecting his fist with Louis' face, sending the blue eyed man stumbling backwards. "Fucking cheater!" He shouts.

And when Louis looks back up, the front door gets shut in his face.

"Ouch! Motherfucker!" He exclaims reaching for his eye and wincing when he touches the place where Niall had connected him a few moments ago. His thoughts racing as he thinks about everything that just happened and his tears starts rolling freely when he realizes that Harry thinks he was cheating.

It honestly breaks his heart knowing that Harry thinks he's a cheater. That's the worst thing anyone could think of him. He's been cheated on, he knows what it feels like and he would never do that to someone he loves.

Harry knows him, surely he should know that Louis is not capable of doing such a vile thing.

But he doesn't. Harry thinks he cheated on him with his assistant. Just like his ex.

So with silent sobs, he leans back against the  front door, sinking down to the ground and curling into himself.

Inside the house, Harry's not doing much better. He silently sobs, holding little Clifford close to him, waiting for Niall to come back with his tea.

"Here you go, Haz." Niall walks into the room, holding the cup out to his friend.

"Thanks Ni." Harry whispers through his sobs and sniffles. "Is he still there?"

"I don't know." Niall honestly replies. "I hit him."

Harry's eyes go wide. "No, Ni. Why?" He shakes his head. "Let me go see if he's okay. You know violence doesn't solve anything." He says, putting Clifford down before he starts getting up.

"No it doesn't. But cheating doesn't either. He doesn't deserve you, Haz." He simply states, and that forces Harry to once again think about the fact that Louis had cheated on him.

He cheated on him with his assistant.

To make matters worse, he cheated on him with his assistant, after Harry had told him that walking in on Daniel like that was without a doubt the worst day of his life. But right now, he would say that today was hands down a hundred times worse than that day. Even though it was just a kiss, and nothing nearly as explicit as what he caught Daniel doing, this hurt way more.

Why does this happen to him? Is he not enough for his partners? Is there something wrong with him? He can't help but think of the words he had heard Nick saying earlier. Is he really a freak?

Niall is right. Louis doesn't deserve him.

So he sits back down and let's out a loud sob, leaning into Niall's side while the latter tries to comfort him.

"What am I going to do, Ni?" He chockes out, running his hand over his little tummy.

"Hey." Niall soothes. "It's okay, Haz. You'll be okay. We'll get through this, yeah." He says while he continues to comfort his best friend.

And Harry loves Niall. The one person who's always been there for him. The only person he knows he can count on, no matter what.
