Captured Altruism

Yesterday, when the lens was
swaying around in the garden,
the altruism engrossed the len's attention
and the lens fell in love with it.
It captured it.

Just like a bird in a cage
and the stars in the universe.
It lived with the lens with love.
The lens used to serve
the altruism with food
and used to play with him,
just like a pet.

But the lens failed
to care much for him.
And hence,
One day, the altruism
felt for his freedom
and he decided to fly away.
He flew away and stayed away
from the lens.

He missed much the altruism
but he found him nowhere.
But he kept hope to find him someday.
But alas, he didn't.
The captured altruism
faded away with time
and it was now dead.
Nowhere to be found.

The altruism fades
just like this one, in us.
We treat altruism as our pet
and one day comes
when it is no more dwelling,
we find it dead.
Altruism always dies
a day or another in all of us.
