I was getting excited after I get the flower and the ring, and ready to take Erica to the place I had made a reservation for our dinner.

I chuckled while I was waiting for the traffic to turn green. I usually would speed up and pass the red light and this would earn a long lecturing from Erica.

Since I found out she was having heart disease and waited for a potential heart donor, I had to appreciate my life to protect her.

I was startled a little when I heard a sharp screeched near me followed by a voice of hard crash on the metal.

"What the fuck is wrong with you, man!" An older man shouted to the driver behind him. The driver was a younger man who was giving the older man apology as he politely advise the older man pulled over his car for them to talk further to avoid blocking the road.

I heard a loud horn behind me as I quickly apologise to the driver behind me and I rode my bike home.

******

"Mind your step, princess," I said softly while my hands gently held her shoulders to help her step on the doorstep of the restaurant.

She was grumpy and remained still since I blindfolded her after we parked my bike somewhere.

I chuckled when her cute lips still pursing with her facial slightly frowned. I helped her sit on the chair and quickly jogged to the small stage to sit on the stool and rested my hands on the piano keyboard.

I started running the keys as a crew on behalf of me to untie Erica's blindfolded. She tried to rub her eyes as she finally could see me as she scoffed at me.

I couldn't help, I enjoy running under her skin sometimes. But, she would love it.

"Hey princess," I waved at her as she folded her arms and I laughed at her grumpy face.

"I'm sorry I'm just enjoying messing with you." I chuckled as she scoffed at me.

I said with a smirk, "So, I wanna sing a lovely song for you. I believe you'll jump into me after I finish this song to you." I winked at her as she bit her lips to suppress her smiling and remained her arms folded.

I started playing the music and the LCD behind me started playing all the photos of us since we started dating. The decent of course.

"Forever can never be so long enough for me
Feel like I've had long enough with you
Forget the world now, we won't let them see
But there's one thing left to do"

Erica giggled when she saw our pictures on the screen as she playfully glared at me. I sang all the lyrics with all my heart and wanted her to know I'll always get her back and the only person I wanted to spend in the rest of my life is her.

She was the one, I believe she will meet a potential donor someday. I already put my faith in us.

"Marry me
Today and every day
Marry me
If I ever get the nerve to say hello in this cafe
Say you will
Mm-hmm
Say you will
Mm-hmm"

I finally ended the song, I just realized I was mirroring my princess who was crying with the tears covering her face.

I quickly wiped off my tears as I walked to her place and one knee down in front of her.

She sobbed as I gently held both of her hands and I cleared my throat, "My princess, I know you have been waiting for a heart donor for years and you're worried you couldn't wait any longer. Don't give up, please. I believe a miracle will happen to us since we have been through a lot."
