Old Times (Bobbi Morse x Reader)

You and Bobbi go way back, like when the both of you were still school children. After graduating high school, both of you decided to attend Georgia Institute of Technology for a PhD in biology. After that, you guys were recruited into SHIELD. You as an engineer and Bobbi as a field agent. You guys promised to not lose communication though before going off to your separate academies. 

"Call me when you can, Morse." You said and gave her a hug. "I will, don't worry. Text me when you get there." she whispered during the hug. "Don't miss your bus." You snickered before boarding your own. You waved at her once you got on your bus, she grinned and wandered off to board her own bus. 

You guys spent most nights talking to each other over the phone until the both of you fell asleep. Most times, you would wake up and find Bobbi still on the other end of the line.After graduating from The Academy, both of you were stationed at Iliad, a SHIELD helicarrier. After Bobbi's shifts, she would visit you in the lab and wait until you finished designing whatever weapon you were working on to bring you back to either your or her bunk. After joining SHIELD, most of your spare time was spent in the gym, training with Bobbi. You could say, she was a great trainer and you were decent at combat thanks to her. 

It didn't take long for the both of you to fall into a relationship that was more than platonic. When SHIELD fell, you guys fought alongside, knowing this might be the last time you'll be seeing each other. Thankfully, you guys made it out in one piece.Things went south when Bobbi got kidnapped which landed her in rehab. During rehab, you helped her regain her physical strength especially in her knee. She was back to her old self in no time, maybe even better. 

Things went fairly normal, well as normal as the life of two SHIELD agents can be until Russia happened. You were trying to bring Prime Minister Olshenko to a safe place, away from General Androvich when Bobbi pulled the trigger and killed the inhuman general. That didn't end well of course, the both of you were landed in an interrogation room with an interrogator that you would very much like to hit in the face. 

When they pushed you into the room with Bobbi, she apologized for getting you in trouble. You understood that if she didn't pull the trigger more lives would be endangered and being a SHIELD agent meant that you had to make the hard call sometimes. When Coulson said there was an extraction plan to rescue the both of you, you guys agreed that the time of being SHIELD agents for the both of you was over. 

After being released from the interrogation room and sent back to the US, you and Bobbi decided to go to a small bar and decide where to settle down, maybe start a family. The waitress placed a shot glass in front of the both of you. "We didn't order that." You said. "I know. You have a secret admirer." she replied. "Who?" You questioned. "Well, they asked me not to say." she shrugged. 

"That's Jemma." Bobbi said when she spotted the young scientist in the corner of the bar. "Fitz is here." Your eyes darted to another table. "It's the spy's goodbye." Bobbi whispered. You saw everyone on the team as 7 shots were placed on the table. You raised your shots and looked at the directions your former team members were. They did the same and started leaving one by one, Mack and Hunter looked at the both of you for a little longer before drinking their shots and leaving. 

You held Bobbi's hand and kissed her cheek while she wiped the tears away. You guys were going to miss this team but at least you guys had each other, just like the old times.
