A/N: Happy New Year's Eve guys
"C'mon we're gonna miss the fireworks." Daisy pouted. You pecked her lips until a goofy grin broke out on her face. "You do realise that the fireworks don't start until another hour right?" You snickered. "I'm excited." she said. "Grab your coat." You said. "I thought you said the fireworks won't start until an hour later." she said. "Exactly." she said. You grabbed both your coats and helped Daisy into it and pulling her through the corridors of the base.
You opened the door and the cold winter air hit your face harshly. "It's beautiful isn't it?" You said while looking up into the sky. "Yeah, just like you." Daisy replied. "Stop." You replied and buried your head in the crook of her neck. "Aww, someone's blushing." she teased when she saw the light tinge of pink on your face.
You moved away from Daisy and scooped up a handful of snow before throwing it at her, making the sounds of laughter erupt from the both of you. Daisy used her powers to send snow flying in your direction. "Hey, not fair!" You protested. You made another snowball and threw it in Daisy's direction but she managed to redirect it with her powers.
You guys spent the next hour having a snowball fight. You managed to catch Daisy off guard multiple times and land a hit on her but she would mostly be able to dodge your snowballs you throw her way.
You guys finally stopped throwing snow at each other when you both heard the sounds of fireworks exploding in the distance along with the colourful lights from the fireworks. "Happy New Year." You whispered into Daisy's ear and wrapped your hands around her waist. "Happy New Year." she breathed and kissed you softly.
Once the firework show was over the both of you trudged back into the base, drenched from playing in the snow earlier. After taking a shower and changing into comfier clothes, you held Daisy in your arms until the both of you fell asleep with a small smile on your lips.
