I looked at the floor. My eyes brain scanning everything over everything she could have left. The car, a fully furnished house... Everything. Reece gabbed my hand ‘When you get a well paying job, you can move into to your new house. We’re not willing to give you up just yet’ Reece said giving my hand a bit of a squeeze, trying to get a facial expression out of me.

‘Your mum paid the house off, before. Well you know... So there’s no mortgage to pay off... No debt’ Reece continued, knowing I was struggling to talk, let alone trying to get my head around it.

Mum actually had that money?

I cocked my head towards Reece as he moved his head, attempting to look into my eyes. I just sat there, looking at him with a tear in my eye ‘Well, we have a new chill out spot’ Reece said smiling, I let out a little laugh ‘I suppose so’ I said, trying to think of more positive outcomes.

‘I must go say thanks to Deb and Darren.. Hell every bloody Mastin here!’ I said jumping up off of the bed, full of happiness. I just wanted them to know I was that grateful! It’s like I truly had a happy family.

I turned to Reece, who seemed to be a little shocked from my sudden energy burst. I took a step closer to him, and engulfed him  in a big hug, closing that little gap I had left. After he had realized what was happening he wrapped his arms around my waist and squeezed me tight.

‘Thanks’ I whispered in his ear, my lip hitting his piercing in his ear, it made my lip tickle a bit and I let out a giggle and rubbed the feeling away from my lip. He nodded his head as a gesture as in to say ‘Anytime’.

I skipped to his bedroom door and opened it happily. I turned to see to see him run a hand through his hair and shaking his head smiling. ‘What?!’ I said to him. He just looked at me ‘You’re happy..’ Reece said with a big grin starting to form on his lips.

‘Yeah, I am’ I replied, thinking of the last time I truly felt like this as I made my way to the kitchen.

I walked in to see Deb sitting at the counter, slipping on a coffee and reading a woman’s Magazine. She shifted her eyes from word to work, and then realized I was standing there.

She stood up from her seat and came to embrace me with a big hug; she could read it in my eyes that I was grateful. It was hard for me to talk due to the pressure that was being applied by her, but I managed to get out my ‘Thank you’ and when she let go she smiled at me ‘It’s okay Love’

‘Pass that on to Darren too, I know he’s sleeping, with ear plugs in I assume?’  I laughed a little bit. I don’t know why he slept with ear plugs in, he just did

‘Sure will Hun’ Deb said, as I set of to find Liv.

I sat on the bed, with Lesley and Liv giving me a make over. Lesley was curling my hair, and tugging my head while she was at it. ‘Open your eyes’ Liv demanded while she twisted her lips ‘Brown’ she said, running over to the table where all the condense from her make up bag was laid out .

I watched as she sorted through everything. ‘No, Black!’ She shouted to herself as ideas were popping into her head spontaneously.

I seems like I had been sitting in her room for hours, having my nails painted, one of Liv’s dresses and now I’m getting my hair and make up done.

It’s like I feel right into their trap.

Let me Re-cap for you;

I knock on door.

Door bursts open

Liv smiles at me and drags me in

Liv sits me on bed
