Where as Sapnap had the easiest, and it appeared that George had the hardest... Dream in fact had the hardest since Tommy had run from George to Ranboo. Dream had been making progress with Ranboo, getting him to answer his questions and was about to get him in the corner, there had been minimal tears and dear gods if Dream had to deal with a crying Ranboo again, he'd attack anyone who caused it... Unless it was the other two kids or the other two adults. Techno, Phil and Wilbur would be iffy, cause he doesn't know the future.
Right as he was about to have Ranboo turn around into his corner to begin his punishment, Tommy ran in sobbing in fear. Which activated Ranboo's protective nature. His fear of returning to them was evident as he latched onto Tommy, ignoring Tommy's tears that were now burning his shoulder or Tommy's wet hair that was burning his neck and chin leading to his face.
His eyes fell into a deep purple instead of the red and green that they normally and typically were. He pulled Tommy into his side and turned so that Tommy was near the wall, protected by Ranboo's body.
"Oh no." Dream sighed, seeing how this was going to hurt the kids in the future. Walking to the door way, Dream found George panicking as he ran out to the hallway, not knowing where Tommy had run too. "George. What did you do?" Dream asked, leaning back against the door frame, arms crossed and an eyebrow raised.
George spun around to see Dream looking 100 percent unimpressed and just completely done. George winced a bit and looking down, trying not to cry in his panic. Dream had seen it though.
"I-I raised my voice tr-trying to be stern and-and Tommy freaked out an-and flinched and ran fro-from the room." George explained, Sapnap having walked out into the hallway, a camera set up just in case Tubbo moved from the corner, and heard the last bit of the conversation.
"So... where is Tommy?" Sapnap asked, George flinched in shock, having not heard Sapnap come out of the room.
"Hiding behind Ranboo who's eyes are pure purple and growling at anything that moves. Burning himself from Tommy's tears and Tommy's wet hair." Dream responded. Sapnap and George gasped a bit in shock as Dream motioned to the room he's leaning against.
The two peaked their heads in and winced, Ranboo's neck was a bright red as Tommy clung to him from the corner. Sapnap sighed, walking into the room, pushing Dream and George back a bit as he did so.
"Sapnap, no!" Dream gasped, reaching out to grab his arm but missing him by a couple inches as Sapnap walked fully into the room and towards the two toddlers. Ranboo looked at him and growled a low growl, a small warning. Sapnap ignored the growl and sat down in front of the two.
"Tommy. Can you come here please?" Sapnap asked, his voice low and gentle as he spoke. Tommy looked at him wearily, shaking his head slightly. "Dream. Can you get me Tubbo?" Sapnap asked, keeping his voice the same as when he addressed Tommy.
He didn't hear anything but about a minute later Tubbo came into the room confused, but spotted the situation and looked to Sapnap for what to do.
"Tubbo, can you come here?" Sapnap asked, his voice still having not changed. Tubbo nodded and walked over, Sapnap grabbing him and setting him in his lap, keeping him in place as Ranboo analyzed him.
"tis o'ay 'Anboo!" Tubbo smiled at him, leaning back into Sapnap's hold, holding onto him as well. "'e n't 'ere ny'ore. 'e 'afe!(We aren't there anymore. We safe!)" Tubbo cheered. Ranboo watched Tubbo carefully before nodding, moving forward slightly, bringing Tommy with him.
When they were close enough Sapnap grabbed the two and brought them into his lap. Ranboo had tensed and hissed at Sapnap but stayed in placed as Sapnap changed his body temperature to a higher one, staying warm and heating the three children into being tired and lulling them into a comforting sleep as he gently rocked them.
"How did you do that?" Dream asked, not having seen Sapnap do that before. George stayed quiet, only having seen him do it once before and that was an extremly dangerous situation. Was what they were in a dangerous situation and they didn't realize it? Sapnap had gone completely serious upon seeing it, so maybe. But they were toddlers! They aren't supposed to be dangerous yet, Techno has yet to begin his weapon training and they were already that level dangerous?
George feared for when they were older.
