Ranboo knew he fucked up when he left the house at three in the morning. Techno and Wilbur were the last of the Sleepy Boi's to go home, Philza needing to head back early due to needing to take care of the animal's before he'd be back in the morning. He had three hours before anyone in the house so much as stirred, so he knew he was good.

Taking a breath, he followed the trail that his brother's and him had raced not even 13 hours prior with Wilbur. 13 hours. Ranboo couldn't believe his brother's have been missing for 13 hours. They'd barely spend 13 minutes apart unless they were sleeping, and even then nightmares would force them into the same room as someone.

He found the clearing the fight had taken place in, fear finally settling into his gut as he saw the blood from Wilbur's knife. From the couple of hits the men actually took. He didn't want to know where the bodies of the men who didn't make it back to their hideout were. He was perfectly happy not knowing that.

He was not, however, happy not knowing where his brothers were.

Taking another deep breath, catching the scents of his brothers, Lavender and Honey filling his sense's and leading him northwest as his eyes glazed his vision in a faint outlined purple, signalling that his was in his tracking mode. Thankfully, that meant he was 50 times more aware of his surroundings, and he basically had heat signature's in graved in his eyes. He could see every animal and person in a 50 foot radius all around him. His tail swished nervously as he continued walking.

The Dream Team weren't stupid. They knew Ranboo remembered, but they assumed that Ranboo just simply didn't want to talk about it in front of Wilbur, Techno and Philza which was understandable since the group didn't know about their traumatic babyhood.

But waking up at 10 in the morning the next day and finding Ranboo missing? They weren't letting that slide. Whatever Ranboo knew, caused him to leave through out the night and now the Dream Team had to tell the Sleepy Bois, as the village nicknamed them, everything they knew about the three. Which was going to put them back a couple of hours, a day or two at most.

"What do you mean, Ranboo left?" Techno growled as his gripped his cape robe in anger.

"He must have known something, we know he knew something about the people who attacked. We figured it was because you three were around and wasn't comfortable sharing it. We figured he'd tell us when we got home but you three came back with us to plan on how to get them back." Sapnap explained, Dream and George were comparing notes between Tommy and Tubbo's nightmares, Sapnap holding onto Ranboo's as he looked over them, writing on another piece of paper any locations mentioned.

"They were born into misery, it took them til they were 5 to tell us anything about the place, and it was only after they had nightmares about the place." George added before the other family had a chance to interrupt.

"So Ranboo knew something. Didn't mention anything. Disappeared into the night in search of his brothers. And you have vague notes to try and track them down?" Philza asked, bringing up any points they may have needed.

"Yup."

"Sounds about right."

"Mhm." Dream hummed a response as George and Sapnap, respectively, said some type of agreement to the statement. Wilbur took a breath and nodded, most likely feeling anger but hiding it from the Dream Team.

"Can I see the notes?" He asked after gathering his thoughts. Sapnap passed over Ranboo's, which held the most notes, for Wilbur to look over. He needed a fresh set of eyes looking over the notes. Someone who hasn't read the book 40 times over. Dream and George handed Sapnap Tubbo and Tommy's to look for any locations mentioned before he too, passed them to Wilbur to look over who had Techno helping him.

Philza had begun talking to Dream and George about the notes they rewrote in hopes of making sense about them.

Ranboo was scared. Terrified even. He had been walking for hours, and if he had to guess, he'd say maybe 5 at most. He had seen nothing, but he was following the tracks and the scents of his brothers. He knew he was heading in the right direction. But he also knew that Techno was tracking him, knew he was being tracked as he searched. After all, Techno taught him how to track since they had the similar senses. Which means that he also knew how to cover his tracks.

Taking a breath he dipped took a drink of the water resistance potion, not up for being in pain or killing himself accidentally because he was trying to hide. But is it worth it? Ranboo knew he couldn't fight. Didn't know how to.

Letting the potion take effect, Ranboo swam across the lake, it being deeper then originally thought before making it to the other side, his brother's scent's becoming stronger the farther he walked. But he was so tired. Exhausted, even.

But he couldn't rest. He needed to get to his brothers, and every minute he wasn't moving, the further away they were. And the closer Techno could be to dragging his ass home in anger.

He trudge on.

--

"He walked this way." Techno sighed, sniffing the air subtly every so often as they walked through the forest. They'd pin pointed where the facility could be in case they lost Ranboo's scent, but they needed to find the hybrid. It was dangerous in the best of times, the forest seemingly alive because of it, and a nightmare at the worst of times. And Ranboo had been gone, for what they believe to be 13 hours now.

"How long do you think he's been walking for? Did he take any potions with him?" Wilbur asked, feeling guilty once more for two of the trio being missing and the third managing to walk off into the night in search of the first two.

"We've estimated he's been gone 13 hours, maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less. He could a quarter of the water resistance potions, and by the map, he knew where he was going to be heading. He also took a fifth of the healing potions, and three instant regeneration potions." Dream recounted. He was the one who dealt the most with the potions, so he was able to count exactly how many was missing in total.

"So a lot?" Philza asked, worry eating him up inside for the three kids that he would babysit if the Dream Team had to all go to the nether for whatever reason.

"Exactly. He, whether he knows it or not, is extremly smart. And he packed everything he would need. We just don't know if he'll take care of himself while out here. He knows Techno can track him, he knows how to hide himself perfectly, and he had enough potions to heal him and Tommy and Tubbo if they are hurt. And the water resistance for when it rains or needs to cross a body of water." Sapnap sighed, already tired of walking.

"Damn." Wilbur sighed, he hoped finding Ranboo would be easier then the other two, since he was so young and may need help. He didn't realize it would practically be harder.
