Red didn't sleep that night, her and Culter argued most of the night over how good of an idea it was to have Isaiah around. "He's a simple human, I'm sorry Red but I don't see how him being around helps." Culter's tone had subsided from earlier but he had not changed his tune of Isaiah, he believed that he was a liability and a risk not worth having around. Red for whatever reason would not budge from her stance. "He's a good kid and I don't know why but I trust he won't backstab us, he seems accepting enough." Red frowned as she knew Culter would continue pushing back on her decision, she didn't have to energy to raise her voice again so she just had to deal with his tirade about how stupid she was. "Look Red I don't necessarily want to tear you down here but you must realize this is a mistake. A regular human should never know about our world." Red scoffed at the comment. "Yea and I'm pretty sure magic wielders aren't supposed to mess with the multi verse." She tilts her head at Culter, who didn't have a retort for that one. He simply shrugged and walked into the kitchen, analyzing where Red kept everything in case he needed to stop by here again for food.
"You don't need to snoop around my house you know, you could just ask me." Red huffed as Culter rummaged through her fridge, he took his head out and glanced at her awkwardly. "Oh I was just looking around." He stated, Culter sniffed the air and scrunched his nose. "Hey I don't recall that human smelling this bad, what is that?" Red sighed and nodded "yes I smell it too, definitely human, I don't recognize it though." Red sniffed again and again, something wasn't right about this. No human should be wandering this far out into the forest, Red's mind raced trying to think of why a human would be out this far. Culter headed outside to examine the area, Red didn't care as she knew a zombie could easily take a human if they meant any harm.
"Hello? Anyone out there?" Culter called out into the night, not a peep in response. He sniffed again and smelt the human, a bit closer now than before. With his slightly enhanced night vision, Culter believed he should be able to spot the perp if they made any move into an ounce of light. Culter steps off the brick stairs leading to the porch, he ventured into the front yard to see if anyone would show themselves.
Bang! Culter dives to the ground, he knew exactly what that noise was and he had a good idea where it came from. Bang! Another gunshot rattled through the night, shattering the silence that once was. Red hears the commotion and looks out the living room window. She sees a man approximately six feet tall, He's just past the pathway up to the house, Red sniffed again and still got nothing from the scent. This guy was a random person, likely looking to rob her home and kill if necessary, Red allowed her eyes to go fully crimson. She was going to show this guy a lesson.Culter hides behind a bush, waiting to find a opening to attack, he could hear footsteps coming closer to the house. Culter heard the gun click again, this guy was serious, Culter wasn't sure why this guy was here but he clearly wasn't here to make friends. Red barges out of house, not even concerned about the man wielding the gun, she hears a ringing by the side of her ear. He missed. Red smiled manically and flipped her cape while chuckling, her prey was so clueless. Another shot rang and again missed Red completely, Red could see this guy clear as day and he was a bigger man, probably worked out regularly. If she was human she might even find him slightly intimidating, unfortunately for him, she was far from human. "Hi there." Red waved with a high pitched voice, she purposely raised her voice to sound more innocent. She wanted this person to not see her as any threat, at least as best she could. The red glowing eyes didn't help too much. "Hands up! Run your pockets and maybe I won't shoot you." Red yawned at the threat, she could see Culter hiding in her peripheral, guns and zombies don't mix. Especially headshots, he was simply playing it safe. "I don't know man you smoked your first two shots on me, I might take the chance." That pissed the man off and he stormed up to Red and pressed the gun to her temple. He stared at her eyes with slight disbelief, Red could see his mind working to explain how her eyes were such a color. "Nice contacts, I might take those too." He remarked with a grin, he began to look Red up and down with a hunger in his eyes. Red was somewhat familiar with this look as vampires are extremely attractive to most humans, this guy couldn't resist. Red gagged at the smell of his breath "listen dude, I know what you're thinking and I'm telling you now...stop thinking of it." Red glared at the man, who was slightly shook that this girl wasn't petrified of a gun to her head. He pressed harder, Red didn't feel anything, she was getting bored of this guy.
