Culter? With the girl?" Abe asked with confusion, Vortex shook his head in frustration. The day after seeing Red and Culter together pissed Vortex off, a rat under his nose. It was embarrassing. "He's a traitor that's what he is." Vortex growled, he examined the van Abe had driven up in. The two were on a dirt road on the edge of town, Abe had brought in supplies for Vortex. "Well hopefully this cheers you up, look at this." Abe perked up and opened the back doors of the van. Exposing the contents inside, Vortex's eyes widened as he saw everything in the vehicle. "You were able to smuggle wooden stakes? I thought they were low quantity." Abe chuckled at the question "they are, had to take down two hunters to get this stash from Argentina." Vortex pondered and picked up a stake to examine it, making sure it was real. It was smooth and had a ball end for a handle, "are they real? They're from the trees from South America your certain?" Abe smiles again and nods, Vortex hugs his old friend in response. "My god, Abe you're amazing. Finding vampire stakes in a stake drought." Vortex put one of the weapons in his pocket as he knew he'd eventually need it.
Abe and Vortex unpacked brains along with cadaver flesh for the goblin population. Abe had pulled a good haul, more than expected, the rations wouldn't be as severe as Vortex anticipated. "Well, Culter definitely won't be eating any of this." Vortex grumbled, he envisions killing Culter with his bare hands. Abe kept his distance from him as he could see the expression plastered on Vortex's face. "I'm guessing you're gonna..."
"Yes. Tonight I will settle things with him." Vortex cuts him off, his expression was unchanged. Abe goes back to Silence as the two-pack up the newly accrued food."Man that was good, thank you, Isaiah." Red rocked back in her chair with blood covering her mouth, Isaiah stood several feet away from her by the refrigerator as she drank a cup of blood. "Personally I wish it was your blood since directly from the source tastes better but cold blood is good too. Underrated in my opinion." Red snickered and looked out at the morning sun, she hadn't slept yet and as a vampire, she usually liked to take naps during the day. Helped keep her mind clear and prevent her from losing control as easily, she noticed Culter sitting quite still on the couch. "Hey, zombie boy, what are you up to?" Red yelled obnoxiously, she grinned as she knew she'd annoy him. "Do you have to yell? I'm literally in your sightline." Culter groaned and rolled his head back in annoyance, Isaiah figured that two nocturnal supernaturals probably weren't the greatest people to be around in the morning. He just kept his distance and stayed silent, just in case Culter or Red got a bit nippy. "I'm just wondering what are you gonna do now? I mean I'm taking down Vortex and you've been relying on him for 2 years now to give you what you need to survive. I'm just concerned you may have second thoughts." Red raised her hood overhead to protect her eyes from the glowing sun, Culter furrows his eyebrows, contemplating.
"I already said I was with you, Vortex has to be taken down. He's done horrible things not just to us who try to follow him. But also I know, even if the records don't show it. He's killed, humans. He's a monst..." Culter stops himself from finishing the word but his face is fuming. "He isn't my kind of people anymore." He said slowly, he glanced at Isaiah, still a little hungry. "I'm with you Red, I promise you that." He finished with a sigh, Red's face lit up with delight. "Well it's good to know you won't be switching sides on me, so where does Vortex usually go?" Red asked, she played with her fang while glancing over at Isaiah occasionally. Seemed that both of them hadn't had enough to eat yet.
"Best bet is probably the old courthouse over by maple avenue, he usually holds meetings there. He's never alone there though, so attacking him there would be suicide." Culter states, he scans the room, looking around to see if Red had any weapons around. "Do you own silver? In any capacity?" He asks a bit concerned. Red shrugs "never felt I needed it, I own a sliver necklace but that's it." Isaiah sits down across from Red, who continues to eye him with some thirst. She fights off the thought this time and rushes over to the freezer to get a small packet of blood. It was her last emergency packet, she'd have to hunt soon and with a human around, that could be difficult. "Hey, Isaiah you think maybe you could like head home soon? I'm sure your parents are wondering where you are." Red faked a smile hoping he would catch her drift, unfortunately, he appeared ignorant to her hint. "Oh I'm fine, I'll just text my mom so she knows I'm safe." Red rolls her eyes and looks at Culter, who gives an evil smile at her dispense.

FantasyThe tale is as old as time, the little girl who was tricked by a wolf and saved by a timely woodsman. This is a far different take on the story where Red herself is a predator. Not as a wolf either, arguably something more dangerous. She tries to su...
