nearly a month passed before yewon left, jongho's mother moving into a house that wasn't too far from their apartment, meaning that yewon could visit whenever she wanted. things were still really difficult for yeosang, but he found himself actually trying to make things better, which was new for him. he was going to therapy twice a week, and although it was expensive, jongho insisted that it was not a big deal and if it was helping, he should continue to go.

while yeosang was at therapy today, jongho quickly made a group chat, wanting to surprise yeosang with a small christmas party, as the season was just around the corner. he didn't want the boy's first holiday without his mother to be too difficult, and he knew that their friends would be entirely willing to help out.
