Lilli's POV
Ever since Vash met Emma, their relationship was almost all he was concerned about.

Constant dates, with walks on the beach and heading back to one of their houses afterwards was getting more common every day.

The thing was, I normally just slept all night if big brother wasn't home. Because that meant I was home alone.

And if Vash and Emma were there, I could never sleep. They were very noisy...

And I think you know why.

And let's just say, Roderich was fed up with big brother leaving me home alone.

Although I could probably handle myself being home alone for a bit, Roderich didn't think the same.

And Vash used to think the same before he met Emma. Now, he didn't leave me alone because he thinks I could do it myself.

He left me there because he didn't think about me. He put Emma before me.

And Roderich didn't like that.

He was putting her before me. He was putting someone he just met before his family.

I mean, he's never been in love like that before, so he must be very caught up in it. Emma seems nice though.

So, another night of me alone at the house took a tiny twist when I heard the front door open. I assumed it was Vash.

But nope, it was Gilbert, Feliciano and Ludwig. Roderich wanted to come over and check on me, but he was busy so he asked them instead.

"Hey, Lilli, are you okay? Roderich asked me to come and check on you. I assume Vash is out with that girl Emma again..." He said.

"I'm good. Thank you for checking up on me." I replied, looking away from the book I was reading to look at him.

"Great. Anyway, what do you think about Vash and Emma's relationship? Considering Vash almost always takes care of you, I feel like you'd have a lot to say about it." He asked.

"Well... I don't disapprove of it that much. I'm glad big brother finally found someone for him. And Emma seems very friendly and genuine! I met her the other day." I replied.

"Really? Well, I guess you are right. Besides, you're the only one here who's ever met her. Anyway, I'd better go see whatever Gilbert is up to. If I had to guess, he's running around the house with Feliciano on his back." He guessed.

...And he was right. Just as he finished his sentence, Gilbert sprinted across the door with Feliciano on his back and a tiny yellow bird following them at maximum speed, chirping as he flew.

"GILBERT! GET MY BOYFRIEND OFF YOUR BACK!" He yelled as he chased after them.

After a high-speed chase, Feliciano was now on his boyfriend's back and Gilbert was relaxing on the couch drinking a juice box, out of breath.

Then, the door opened again. Was it Vash and his girlfriend? Nope, it was Roderich and his wife, Elizaveta.

"Good evening. How's Lilli?" Roderich asked as he walked in. "Good," Ludwig replied.

"Vash still nowhere to be found?" He asked. Ludwig nodded. Roderich sighed, but he wasn't surprised either.

"I don't know too much about this whole Vash and Emma situation, could you possibly fill me in on it?" Elizaveta asked from behind Roderich.

"Sure thing, my dear," Roderich replied. "Vash met Emma, they fell in love, and now Vash keeps pushing us out of the way for her. Especially Lilli. She hasn't seen her brother much this past week and I think we all know why."

"Oh my," Elizaveta mumbled. "Vash is pushing someone who is basically... a daughter to him out of the way for a woman he just met. Bet he would do anything for this woman."

Roderich nodded. "I'm about to just pick her up, bring her over to our house, and take care of her there. Vash can't do it if he's out with this woman."

Wait... Does he think that it's better if I stay with him? No, I had to tell my side of the story.

"Well... I think Vash has finally realized I'm independent enough to stay on my own for some time, but I feel like he's been doing it for times that are too long..." I said as I walked down the stairs.

"I mean, I guess you are slowly getting independent enough to take care of yourself for a bit, and maybe I'm just being too overprotective, but it's mostly about the fact he's spending all this time with Emma. A person he just met." Roderich said.

Author's POV
Just then, the door came open, Vash came in with Emma on his back. The couple didn't think that there would be so many people in the house.

"Oh. Hello." Vash said as he saw the crowd. "I was thinking none of you would be here." Emma hopped off his back. "Hello! I assume you're all Vash's siblings?" She asked.

"I'm Roderich's wife, Elizaveta." Eliza chimed in. "I'm Ludwig's boyfriend, Feliciano," Feliciano added.

"Right. I'll remember that. Let me try to name all of you now." She said. "You're Lilli," Emma assumed as she pointed at Lilli. "Yup!" She replied.

"You. You're Roderich." She guessed and got right. "You're Gilbert, and You're Ludwig." She said, which she got right.

"I have to go grab something from the store, be right back!" Vash exclaimed. He headed out the door to get whatever he needed.

"Anyway, how have you and Vash been?" Roderich asked. "Quite well. You do need to get close to him for him to be that full romantic, y'know?" Emma replied.

"He's never been the most romantic kind, and when he tried to flirt with a girl at his high school prom, he got a slap to the face," Roderich mentioned.

"He told me that. I think that's why I've been his first girlfriend." Emma said.

Gilbert being the chaotic dumbass he is, decided to ask a... questionable question. "So, Emma, how is he when you're up in the bedroom? Considering the noises, I wouldn't be surprised if he's good."

Before Emma could reply, Ludwig gave him an elbow to the gut. "Do I need to go over the lesson on what questions are not appropriate to ask?" He asked.

"Ow... Maybe..." He replied weakly. That's when Vash came back in through the door. "Sorry I took that long, I had to get stuff for dinner. Maybe we should all have it together?"

Oh boy, a Germanic family dinner? It always involves alcohol, swearing and fighting. So buckle your seatbelts, people.
