(A/N: Dirk is The Netherlands, and Luca is Luxembourg. I tried my best to find names for them so sorry if they're bad!)

Emma's POV
My car pulled into a driveway I hadn't pulled into in a good while.

The lawn had been freshly cut and the trees that used to cover the view of the house had been removed, but the trees remain, standing strong and tall.

The house was big, a mansion indeed. But it was old, and for me, full of memories. It was my Mother's house. The house I and my little brother, Luca grew up in.

My older brother Dirk was a different story. He'd grown up with my father, at a smaller house. Our parents divorced just months after Luca was born.

Although it was said that Dirk would only come during the summer, sometimes I'd sneak him to the house after school. We still lived in the same town.

It was only until our Father moved that Dirk came to live with us. Although Luca wasn't always around him, they remained in a very close relationship.

But to Luca, our father was a total stranger.

I knew him for three years, and after that, I sometimes got to see him. Dirk was probably the most used to him. Luca was always restricted from seeing our father.

It was because our mother hated him. She wanted a kid who didn't know him. She'd always told us it was his fault and that he was cheating...

But she was the one who cheated. We weren't even sure if Luca was our full brother until we got a test to confirm it.

Luca and I were brainwashed into thinking it was his fault, but after Dirk moved in with us, he had to be the one to tell us it was her fault.

I haven't seen her since I moved out for college. By then, she'd married men just to drain them of their money, and then move on.

It was gonna be my first time seeing her in years. If she was still there even. I wouldn't be surprised if she left or even died.

As I stepped out of my car, the door opened, and my brothers, Luca and Dirk rushed out to hug me.

Well, Luca gave me an actual hug, but Dirk just kinda put his arms around me awkwardly for a second then pulled away.

He's pulling away really only made Luca hug me even tighter. He missed me. "Emma! I've missed you so much! You've gotta tell me everything interesting that's happened!"

I laughed at his over-the-top excitement a bit as his face glowed with joy. "I've missed you too. C'mon Dirk, join the group hug!" I exclaimed.

"I've missed you just as much as he has, but I'm not a hugger. I'll pass." Dirk said.

"So... I've heard about Vash. I should meet him sometime, huh?" Luca asked, finally letting go of his grip on me.

"He's a lot better than my ex, don't worry. I think the three of you will get along." I replied, motioning to Dirk.

Dirk noticed that I was motioning to him and walked a bit closer to me. "Emma, we have to tell you something."
