We bumped along in his truck as it bounced along the road.

"So where are we going than?" I asked clutching the handle over the door.

"I am taking you to McDonald's."

"But I thought we were going somewhere where we could sit and talk about this." I said trailing off.

"We can talk in here." He smiled and patted the seat next to him.

"I guess." I sighed and than turned to look out the window.

We pulled into the drive through line and he quickly placed his order and than payed. He handed me a vanilla shake and I took a sip. It tasted so good! He pulled into a parking spot and stopped the car.

"I know you feel the need to protect yourself, but you need to stop lashing out at people just because your mad at your parents. Because they can't bother you now." He said taking a chicken nugget out of the box sat between us.

"They were trashing my bike. I told you that, he had it coming." I argued munching on a French fry.

"Ok even if he did it doesn't matter. You need to start trying harder and staying out of fights." I let out a sigh.

"Ok I'll try harder, ok?"

"Thank you. Now on a happier subject we have McDonalds!" I rolled my eyes and laughed.

"Really I thought this was Wendy's."
