The cool air felt nice on his pale orange scales. As he flew strictly behind the other, much older dragons, Sky would close his eyes. He would fly, and he'd like it. He beat his wings harder, and flew faster.

Lynx flew almost beside him, but her wings glided faster than his. It sliced through the crisp air, perfectly. It seemed she's been flying her whole life. While Sky had just recently been able to fly a few feet off the ground, and distant long flights.

Sky looked at two other dragons who beat their wings side-by-side. The two dragons he didn't know. Pineapple, and Bullfrog. At some points he'd catch them making small conversation.

Qibli flew behind Sky, making sure he didn't fly away from the flock.

Then, the SilkWing and NightWing flew ahead of everyone else. They too, were chatting. But their conversation seemed more ... serious. The SilkWing ... Luna, was it? Her wings were simplistic, but pretty. They gave off the look of a luna moth. Maybe that's why her name is Luna.

Cricket tried to be apart of their conversation, but couldn't grab their attention. Luckily, she held the map, and studied so she could have something to do. Sundew lay he head down, watching the sea as they pass. She was flying next to Cricket, but flying at a slightly higher altitude.

I can't imagine leaving the one dragon you love, and knowing you might not come back ...

Wren gripped his neck, trying not to fall off.
"The sea is very big, we might need to find an island soon so Sky can rest."

The dragons looked back at Sky. Though, they might have been looking at Wren, still bewildered she could speak dragon.

Moonwatcher paused for a moment. "Yes, perhaps we should." She hovered in the sky, not moving any forward. She raised her claw to her temples, and closed her eyes. Cricket handed her the map.

"I think there should be one about west of here, we are about to pass it." Cricket informed her.
"I don't need to rest! I'm big, and I'm strong!" Sky exclaimed. He didn't want to seem weak compared to the other, larger dragons. He recognized Qibli getting closer to his tail, to get closer to the group.

"Well, Sky, I'd fancy a good rest. My wings are getting sore, and we have quite a long ways to go before the next island." He'd say, "I'm sure every dragon would agree."
Then the yellow, unfamiliar dragon spoke; "Perhaps we should."

Moonwatcher gestured to follow her as she held the map. On second thought, maybe I am tired.

By the time they all had arrived at the island, Wren decided to leave Sky, and talk to Moon and Luna. What was so important that she had to talk to the older dragons? Why not talk to Sky? Your best friend ... I'm scared right now and I need comfort ...

Sky looked around. It wasn't the biggest island, but still was large enough to hold all of the dragons here, plus more. The sky shone glimmering colors of deep blue, with lighter blues and purple illuminating the sky. It wasn't night yet, so why would it look so dark? Stars barely uncovered themselves from the blanket that is the sky.

The sand was plain, it looked unstartled. There were only a few islands to stop by on the way to Pyrrhia. So, they must have stopped here. But why was the sand so perfect?

The cold air flew past Sky's ears. Oh.
"Sky!" The scavenger's voice leaped put at him. Sky turned to look at her, but before he could see her, she ran up and gave him a big hug. "What?" He'd ask.

"I'm so exited! We're almost at Pantala!" She undead sounded very excited. "We're going to meet some new dragons and save the world!"

Sky looked down at her. He lay down, to get on her level. Her hair was barley damaged to the air, as if she haven't just flown on a dragon across the sea. "Maybe there will be ..." He didn't want anyone to hear, so he spoke in the scavenger language. " ... more scavengers? It'll be a whole party of scavengers!"

Wren didn't look amused by Sky using the word 'scavengers' so many times, but then her expression changed. "Yeah, you're right! What if? Maybe they could help us too."

"However," She gently spoke again. "we do have a long flight ahead of us, and Luna and Moon said we should sleep before we fly again. The next island won't appear for miles."

Sky nodded, and picked up Wren, and took them both near a bush away from the other dragons. He didn't want to be near any of them. He wanted to be friends with them, but it didn't look the same with any of them.

They curled up together, and slowly starting to drift asleep.

Some of the other dragons seemed to have the same idea as well. Luna, Cricket, and Moonwatcher slept near each other, and Qibli wrapped his wing around Moon. On the other side of the island, Pineapple and Bullfrog sat near each other. They didn't seem to separate. Maybe they too are afraid to make friends?

They do seem like good friends.

"Goodnight, Sky." She had calming words.

"Night, Wren." They began to sleep soundly, as the stars formed around them.
