Viktor opened his eyes, pushing a piece of hair out of his eyes. From his side of the bed, he could see frost covering the large window. He looked down beside him, where Jayce was asleep, snoring quietly.

He got up, manuvering his bad leg over the side of the mattress and standing. Making his way over, Viktor peered through the glass, letting the cold air raditate against his skin.

"Vik?" Jayce's groggy voice came from the bed. "Why's it so damn bright in here?" he muttered, rubbing his eyes.

Jayce got up and walked over. He rested his chin on the top of Viktor's head, letting his arms wrap loosely around his waist. He looked out the window and smiled at the snow covering the city.

Grabbing a blanket from the sofa, Jayce bundled it around Viktor's shoulders, until only his face stuck out from the layers of fabric.

"Isn't this a little unessasary?" Viktor asked, trying in vain to untangle his arms.

Jayce kissed his cheek. "Not in the slightest. In fact..."

He strode over the the fireplace and started a fire. "There."

Chuckling, Viktor sat down on the couch, with Jayce beside him.
