"Love is born from a sudden desire of making eternal that which is fleeting". -Ramón Gómez de la Serna.

After a long trip through New York's streets, we finally arrive to my new temporary home.

Freckles, as always, proceeds to open the vehicle's door.

Ethan gets outs to give me his hand as a gallantry gesture. Tiresome for the trip has assuaged me a bit, so I decide to accept his generosity.

When I get out, I find the amazing entrance to the "Eastern Mandarin" Hotel. Its immense structure is so perfectly detailed, that it just stunned me. If going to the "Eleven Madison Park" restaurant intimidated me, just imagine how shocked I am by entering this fancy hotel.

Once again, I question my clothes. I see my loyal canine for a while, and I notice that he doesn't look good either. I release a deafening sigh before being drowned by shame. And so, I proceed to follow Ethan's steps, who seems to have a close relationship with the staff in this place. Even the maids say hello to him with such kindness.

Mozart looks serious, walking behind us. He's watchful to everything that surrounds us. On the contrary, like any young man with crazy hormones, he smiles at every woman passing by.

We head up to the majestic elevator, and once there, Ethan marks number 52, I don't know how many floors has this building exactly, but being in that place just terrifies me a bit.

I find strange that we didn't stop to make some kind of reservation in the Lobby, but Ethan's confidence, as well as his sidekicks', makes me think they're like home.

After arriving to our destination, the elevator opens up, and surprises us with a little blonde girl, she had green eyes and jumps to Bagui to pet him.

━Look, mommy! A little dog! -the girl says with enthusiasm as she strokes Baguira. Her mother looks like one of the maids from the hotel-. Can I keep it? -she asks while looking into my eyes.

Moved by her innocence, I proceed to smile at her before answering:

━I can't give him to you, sweet heart. -I say in a subtle tone, but seeing that sadness expression, just breaks my heart-. But...What do you think about coming tomorrow to play with him? -I ask after I wink at her.

━Yes, yes! I'll play with my new friend tomorrow -she answers very excited, as she releases herself from her mom's hand.

Ethan smiles and comes close to talk to me, as we keep walking to the room.

━You should have given the dog to that girl. That would have freed us from him, and the best of all, it's a charity gesture, don't you think? -he asks jokingly.

━It's a shame she didn't ask for a bigger dog, so I could put a bow on you to give you as a gift to her -I ask with extreme obnoxiousness.

Ethan slyly laughs for a few seconds.

━You shouldn't be so hateful with the one you'll be sharing the room with from now on –he inquires in a seductive tone.

WHAT? This must be a joke!

He's so wrong to think he'll sleep in the same room as me. I refuse to have him close to me, I don't want to see him, not even near the bed where I'll sleep.

━I demand an exclusive room for me, and my dog, of course. If not, I'm leaving this apartment right now -I warn him.

━You can't stay alone in this room; Laurent would find you. Tell me, who would protect you then? Because I don't think your dog knows how to use a weapon -he says in a sarcastic tone.
