🎄Chapter 16🎄

The snow continuesly swayed in the wind and touching the snow filled ground. Tomo hid behind a large pine tree with a pile of snowballs by his side. While Ei in the other hand, is carrying a bunch of snowballs in her arms, as she walked around the woods "Tomo, where are you?" Ei mumbled "pfft, she does'nt know i'm just behind this tree" Tomo said quietly.

Ei stopped right infront of the large pine tree Tomo was hiding and got closer to it. Tomo then heard footsteps coming closer to his hiding spot, as he covered his mouth and stayed still, not wanting to make a sound.

The place went awfully quiet in the past 4 minutes. Tomo decided to take a peek outside; to see nothing. Tomo sighed in relief but he felt something was off "Dont let your guard down" Ei whispered behind him. He quickly whipped his head to his back, only to see Ei "How long have you been the— Ei cut him off by throwing the snowballs at him. Tomo quickly got up and ran away from her.

Ei was now chasing after Tomo, as he repeatedly throws snowballs at her. Ei dodged some of them and Tomo slowly ran out of snowballs. Tomo took a quick glance behind him, as he saw Ei was just meters away from him.

Ei struggled to catch up with Tomo, as he was running in all directions, like they were running in circles in the woods. Tomo took another glance at Ei. Out of nowhere, Ei was now leaping towards Tomo "What the— Ei yeeted her body towards Tomo, making them land on the snowy ground.

Ei was now sitting on top of Tomo's body, pinning him to the ground "I finally caught you!" Ei exclaimed while panting "Did I did good?" Ei asked, her hands on his chest(abs) "Yeah, Good Job... I guess" Tomo said, looking up at Ei; who was on top of him "Also, are we going to stay like this for all of eternity?" Tomo had a smug look on his face.

Ei noticed the position they were in and she blushed but returned with a smirk "why? You want to?" Tomo slightly blushed. He then out stretched his arms and legs and repeatedly going back and forth, like he was doing jumping jacks. Ei was confused on what he was doing "uhh... what are you doing?" Ei asked and Tomo giggled "I'm making snow angels" Ei got off of him and laid beside him, as she copies what he was doing.

Moments later, Tomo stopped and got up from the ground "look, Ei! That's what snow angels looks like" Tomo said pointing at the snow angel he made. Ei stood up and stared at her snow angel "How interesting, Its like a copy of me but it looks like a shadow" Ei said.

While Ei was observing their snow angels, Tomo was gathering snow together. Ei noticed him making a huge snowball "Another snowball fight?" Ei asked and Tomo shook his head "I'm making a snowman! Do you want to help me build one, Ei?" Tomo asks her and she nodded "How are we going to make a snowman?" Ei asked "Can you fetch me 2 twigs and 12 pebbles, Ei?" Tomo tasked her and Ei nodded "Thank you. You can find those near our surroundings" Tomo said and Ei walked around.

When Tomo was done stacking three snowballs of different sizes, Ei came back with the needed materials for the snowman "I'm back!" Ei said and Tomo smiled "You're just in time" Ei then set the twigs and pebbles near the unfinished snowman "So, what now?" Ei asked and Tomo pick up one twig "The twigs are the snowman's hands" Tomo said, as he puts one twig on its right and Ei copied what he did and puts the other twig on its left.

Tomo then observed the pebbles and picked up the largest pebbles "these two are his eyes" Tomo said, showing Ei the two pebbles and puts them on the snowman's face "what about the other pebbles?" Ei asked, pointing at the other pebbles she'd collected "The other pebbles will be his buttons" Tomo said and Ei picked up some of them "I want to put them on the snowman" Ei volunteered and Tomo nodded "Go ahead" Tomo said and Ei started putting the pebbles on the snowman.

After it was done, Tomo stared at it "hmm... something's missing" Ei said and Tomo picked up small pebbles nearby and puts them below the eyes of the snowman "I forgot to mention; the mouth" Tomo nervously giggled "he has no nose" Ei pointed "There's no carrots in here, so yeah" Tomo shrugged.

Ei then takes off Tomo's scarf that was around her neck and wraps it around the snowman's "There! In that way, he would'nt get cold" Ei said and Tomo giggled "What do you want to name him?" Tomo asked and Ei thought for a moment "Tomo... Ei... Tomei..." Ei mumbled "Tomei? That's sounds a bit weird to hear..." Tomo commented "How about Mei then?" Ei said and Tomo nodded "Much better" Tomo then pulls up a thumbs up to Ei and she smiled.

Ei takes off her hairpin and puts it on Mei's head "Mei..." Ei caressed the snowman's cheek.
Tomo then looks up at the sky and glanced towards Ei "Its getting cold out here. Ei, let's rest and warm ourselves up, I made an igloo before you came here. Come on" Tomo said, as he walks away and Ei followed him "A igloo? What's that?" Ei asked and Tomo said"You'll see".

After walking for about 15 minutes, they then arrived at the said; igloo. The igloo was beside an icey river and there was also a little house in the other side "Is that your house, Tomo?" Ei asked and Tomo nodded "Then why did'nt we just rest there instead of the igloo?" Ei asked and Tomo frowned "I worked on hours building this igloo..." Tomo said "Then what was the reason of you building this igloo?" Ei asked, putting her hands on her hips "Its because there was a lot of snow and I decided to build an igloo" Tomo said and Ei shook her head "okay... I'd built this, not only because of the snow... its because... I want to show you something that might impress you" Tomo honestly said.

Ei stared at the igloo infront of her "You've made this... for me?" Ei puts her hand over her chest "Do you like it?" Tomo asked "I dont like it..." Tomo's heart break when he heard her opinion "You dont like it?" Ei shook her head and said "I Love it!" Tomo's face lightened up and smiled happily "Really?!" Ei nodded and responded "Yes" Ei then felt a warm feeling in her chest whenever she's with Tomo 'what is this feeling?' Ei thought, feeling butterflies just seeing the male smile at her.
