The next day,

It was night at the euthymia. Ei was nuzzling comfortably against Tomo's chest with her arms around his head.

"Tomo..." Ei spoke in a whisper "hmm? Yes, Ei?" Tomo stared down her "Do you ever feel... tired of me?" Ei asked with her voice slightly cracking "What? Of course not!" Tomo objected with wide eyes "Why would you think of me like that?" Tomo asked "No-nothing... It just crossed my mind because I'm always out in the real world...leaving you here all alone" Ei said in a muffled voice because of her head being buried against his chest.

Tomo stroke Ei's head and feel her silky purple hair between his fingers "I don't really feel lonely here and it makes me happy whenever I watch you having fun with your friends" Tomo said making Ei look up at him "I made you happy...?" Ei questioned and Tomo nodded "Mhm! and proud" Tomo gave her a bright smile and Ei hugged him tightly.

"Speaking of friends, I, Miko, Sara, and Itto have a date together last night" Ei said happily about the memory "A 'date'?" Tomo raised a brow "Yes! A date! It means spending time together with your close ones. Miko explained it to me" Ei said with her happy tone slowly disappearing.

Tomo tried to stifle his laughter but burst out into laughter making Ei confused "Wha- why are you laughing?!" Ei asked with a pout "Lady Yae really likes tricking you huh?" Tomo tried calming down his laughter and left it with a chuckle.

"Tricking me?" Ei questioned "A date does count as spending time to someone you want to be close with. Specifically, a friend" Tomo said "and? What's wrong with having dates with your friend?" Ei asked "For common people nowadays... consider a date with someone as starting or building a romantic relationship with them" Tomo explained.

Ei became flushed at the yuri that has been going on in her life "That girl..." Ei mumbled. Tomo noticed her flushed look making him giggle "It's okay for me if she attempt to approach you with romantic gestures" Tomo reassured her that he was okay with it.

"You're not jealous?" Ei asked and Tomo shook his head "I'm not jealous. Besides, I'm already gone now and I don't have any chance for your heart" Tomo said "Don't say that. I don't believe you... you're lying to yourself..." Ei said and pushed him into a hug "No, no, really! I don't care if you love somebody else than me" Tomo said "Stop saying that! I will only love you!" Ei shouted under her breath "You're the one lying to yourself, Ei" Tomo said "No! I am not!" Ei protested.

Tomo giggled and patted her head "I saw the way you looked at Yae Miko" Tomo said "What...? You think I'm inlove with... he-her?" Ei asked and Tomo nodded "The way you looked at her reminds me of... how I first have a clear glance at you" Tomo said with a smile "...what if I am inlove with Yae?" Ei questioned "Then... you found the person that can stay with you for eternity" Tomo said and rubbed her cheek gently.

"I don't understand love" Ei mumbled and pressed Tomo's hand that was caressing her cheek "Sometimes, people fall inlove with the wrong person until they meet the rightful one" Tomo said "Do you believe in soulmates, Ei?" Tomo asked that made Ei fell silent and then spoke "No..."

"A soulmate is a person that suits you and you kind of feel a sort of connection with them. It's like a thread of destiny that binds soulmates together by the hands of the God" Tomo said. Ei buried herself into a hug against him as she hears him say in a whisper "I believe you and Yae are soulmates..." Ei ignored what he just stated.

Ei then rested her head on his shoulder with her arms wrapped around him "Soulmate or not. You're still mine no matter what... and no God can pull me away from you" Ei said.

Tomo giggled and brought her to a tender kiss. Ei kissed back and pushed him down, in attempt to take it further.

Ei was on top of him with her back arched and her arms around his neck. Tomo's fingers played with the strands of her hair while his other hand rested on Ei's lower hip.

They were so deep into the kiss as Ei pushed her body down, closing the gap between them.

Ei pulled away and stared down at him. Tomo saw how Ei have lustrous eyes and opened his mouth to speak "We talked about this, Ei. and it's still a no" Tomo said "I know. And I almost forgot that I have a surprise for you!" Ei exclaimed happily and stood up.

Ei walked behind the Sakura tree and Tomo followed, curious of what's the 'surprise' she meant.

"So~? What's the surpri—" Tomo dropped his words when he saw Ei taking off her kimono that exposed her back. Tomo quickly covered his eyes underneath his hands "Ei! Wh-what are you doing!?" Tomo asked.

Tomo felt hands on his'. Ei pulled away his hands covering his tomato face "My surprise is this!" Ei spoke happily with a giggle and opened her kimono to reveal a short skirt nightgown "Does it look good on me?" Ei asked shyly with her arms on her back.

"Miko picked it out for me earlier today" Ei said and Tomo nodded while scratching his nape "Uhuh...? It looks beautiful on you" Tomo gave a thumbs up and Ei giggled "What's with that face? Were you expecting something else?" Ei stepped closer to him and gave him a smug look making Tomo in deep shade of red at the thought of something else.

"No..." Tomo looked away from her. Ei giggled and placed a peck on his cheek "You look so cute when you're flustered~" Ei whispered "Eh? Since when did you start sounding so flirty?" Tomo asked with a brow raised "Well... let's just say Miko is a good teacher" Ei said and Tomo chuckled "It's always that Miko" they both laughed and went back to cuddling.
