"So what movie are we watching?" Shatoni asked as she jumped face flat on the couch, almost immediately, her arms supporting her face and her elbow pressing into the couch. The rest just scattered themselves around the parlour. Even Adekunle.

"What about Candyman? Saw the trailer a few days ago but never had the time to watch it" Ava said. She was lying down on the chair with her head on Timileyin's laps and her legs swinging on the arm of the chair. Timileyin was just sitting down lazily and stroking her hair. Awwn.

"No time to die jhor" Adekunle said. He sprawled himself on the black beanbag on the floor.

"Let's just watch the two. I'm not ready to go home anytime soon" Folakemi said as she stretched on the three seater where she, Bami and Bofa sat all tangled up.

Everyone chorused their confirmation lazily.

"Well I can only stay for one cus I'll have to pick my sister from my big mommy's place later" Bami sulked from where she sat and Bofa gave her a side hug while patting her head in a weird rhythm and said "dear dear child. You'll be alright" like one of those American moms. Bami just sniffed and nodded like she just digested what she said. I laughed under my breath.

"Y'all pick whatever you want. I'll go get the snacks" I said and started going to the kitchen. The maids were already tidying up so they could all retire to their homes.

"Imma tag along" Adekunle said, hoisted himself up and started following me.

"You do you" I shrugged and went into the kitchen.

"So!" I exclaimed and clapped while looking into the store room. "We have popcorn, doritos, ruffles, cheetos, lays, fizzy drinks, sparkling water, chocolates, oreos, etcetera, etcetera" I rounded up my speech.

I turned back towards Adekunle and he mouth was legit hanging open.

"What?" I asked and started laughing while going through the stacks to see what other snacks were available.

"Who owns all these snacks?" Adekunle asked quizzically from behind me.

I turned around shrugged and said a simple 'me'. "Why'd you ask?" I laughed and put one of my hand on my waist sassily while he stared at me like I was an alien.

"50% of my allowance usually go into snacks every month cus these girls are almost always at my house, especially Toni, my mom likes to steal some from me and I'm a junk eater, hence the huge amount of snacks" I decide to summarise to him so he would stop looking like that.

"Damn" he muttered under his breath.

"I know" I said, laughed under my breath and went back to going through the snacks

"Help me to grab some drinks from the fridge" I said to him while grabbing some snacks.

"Yh sure. Any brand in mind?" He asked, walking towards the fridge.

"Just go wild" I said and carried some snacks to the cabinet and going back to get more.

"Well then" he said then laughed.
