ROLAKE (DISCONTINUED)

Resumption of updates?🌚

Hello everyone! Been a while😊 how have you been?

Let's just get into it.

So as we all know, Rolake has been on hold for...quite a few months now. Well there are sensible and a few nonsensical reasons behind it.

First, Rolake was under editing. If you go back to all the previous chapters now(for old readers), you would see the word "[Edited]" at the top of everything. Yes, that's because I decided to go back to read the work that I wrote, because I never actually went back after a published chapter, and I was really freaked out by what I read ngl😂. I was like "I wrote this?! And people read this?! And they even voted?! Wow"😂😭. So yunno, I decided to fix the mess I wrote over a year ago to make it more...sensible? I don't know.  But the beginning chapters went through a little makeover 😂nth too damaging. Although, my beloved old readers that have been with me since day 1, if you do go back, you may or may not recognise the book😂.

So during this change, there are a few things you should take note of that changed:
1. When going back, I realised I made some of my characters seem...rude? Sort of. And it didn't really give off the first impression I was expecting. Like Rolake, Kemi and a few others. So that was taken care of.
2. One of my friends had told me a few chapters back that the way Adekunle and Rolake just became friends was kind of a rush. Looking back at it, she was hella right and I couldn't leave it as it was. Thanks to 1stBukky for noticing ❤.
3. There's no easier or harder way of saying it but the plot was just scattered 😂. They weren't arranged the way it's supposed to be so that's fixed too.
4. Some conversations were altered and some made completely brand new so yh.

Secondly, I would have unpublished all the chapters to republish back but my friend had done so but unfortunately she lost all her reads and votes. So she advised me along with another friend to not unpublished but just edit straight up. So thank you guys for that.

Also, I'm quite a busy person (in my mind 😂) and I also had to take a pause to restructure the story in my head because originally, I was just writing whatever came to my mind at that moment and without hesitation, just publish but yunno, I think...think, I have that sorted out too.

The conversations that were changed (incase anyone is interested in rereading), a few I can remember are: the first time Adekunle and Rolake had a conversation, Adekunle's perspective on a lot of things, conversations held between him and Timileyin, more descriptive insight on each chapter and so on. Fine some of you might read and be like "is this the best she can come up with?" But let me be honest. I tried my best. Even with all my slacking and procrastination, I tried my best in delivering. If you find a problem with it, I'm sorry but it's not open for discussion👍.

And, Rolake may or may not have turned into a project now. Still being planned but lots of collaborations to come.

Also, your girl is in Ss3 now...the pressure is getting wesser!😭. I'm sure some of you would be like is it not just waec and jamb but guy it is more than that 😂. Let's just say my case is different 🤧pray for me 🤲🏽.
Oh and your girl went through a break up o😭😭...but I'm fine now😂. This writer's heart is made of stone 💔.

Sha in summary, for old readers,  you don't have to go back to read from the beginning if you don't want to. The insight still remains the same basically. But it would be better if you do. So yes! Toast to new chapters to come (not as often though. Say twice or thrice a month?)🥂!

And please let's try to be engaged to make it more interesting🌚. I would like to start involving my readers now😁.

So that's pretty much it. Thankful  for supportive readers❤💕. The "|ON HOLD|" is officially off! New chapter dropping soon.
