"𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐆𝐔𝐘𝐒 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑?" Tabitha popped out of nowhere startling Hoshi who was putting his books back into his locker and Milo, who leaned against the next locker.

"Hear what?" Milo asked, slinging his arm around his girlfriend's shoulder.

"Brad and Corey are dating" Tabitha squealed, shaking her fists in the air from excitement. "Isn't that so exciting?"

Hoshi wrinkled his nose in disgust.

"When did they start dating?" Milo asked.

"Yesterday night," Tabitha squealed again and Hoshi tried not to die from cringing. "There was a party at one of the football players' houses and he asked her right there and then, in front of everyone, she said yes."

"Where you at the party?" Milo furrowed his eyebrows. "You didn't tell me you were going to a party."

Tabitha waved him off. "I wasn't at the party," she said. "I was busy babysitting my siblings, I got the full gist from my friends. But anyways, I'm so happy for them."

"What's there to be happy about?" Hoshi spoke up and the other two looked up to him.

"Because they make a pretty cute couple," Tabitha shrugged. "And Brad's better off with Corey than with that druggie, Adina."

Hoshi tightened his grip on the straps of his backpack. "Druggie?"

"That was the rumour you didn't want to hear," Milo explained. "Some kids found Adina around a popular spot where people get hard drugs and saw her exchanging cash for some pills."

"Like, that's pretty messed up," Tabitha added. "I knew that there was something wrong with her. But drugs? Seriously? How can something as simple as a breakup cause someone to get into drugs?"

"Shut up, both of you," Hoshi snapped, his anger spiking. "You never know what's actually going on in her life, so don't talk like you know her whole life history. And you're both acting like there aren't other kids in this school that use drugs."

"But she's different," Tabitha snapped back. "She was such a bitch, always felt like she was better than everyone else, the model student everyone wanted to look up to. Isn't it funny to see someone like Adina fall into drugs? Cause it sure is to me."

"She never acted like she was better than everyone," Hoshi tried to calm himself down. "And it's not funny that she started indulging in drugs."

"Sure is to me," Milo muttered and Hoshi's eyes snapped to him. "Look man, you're pretty blinded by this puppy dog crush you have on her and you're losing your sanity over some girl who you don't really know."

"Maybe I'm like this because every other person who claimed to be friends with her left her," Hoshi seethed. "Milo, if you spiral out of control, I'll be there for you and try to pull you back up. But no one, not even Corey who claimed to be her best friend, is there for Adina to pull her back up."

Milo clamped his mouth shut while Tabitha seethed beside him. Hoshi relaxed his grip on his straps and walked away, feeling the stares of the other students who had witnessed their small argument burning at the back of his head.

School sped by and by the time it was over, Hoshi was sure he didn't grasp anything his teachers said in his classes. His mind had been on Adina and how he could reach her.

He held his phone in his hand as he walked to the school parking lot, staring at her contact name, his finger hovering the call icon. The parking lot was pretty empty since he stayed back for an hour to work on an assignment.

Groans and moans filled his ears and he wrinkled his nose in disgust, his eyes landing on Brad and Corey dry humping each other by the side of his car. He looked away, his skin crawling with disgust as he walked away.

"Hey, gangnam style," Hoshi heard Brad's voice and he was sure it was directed at him.

Annoyance flashing in his eyes, he turned around. Brad and Corey were off each other, adjusting their clothes.

"Do you seriously call every Asian person in this school gangnam style?" Hoshi asked.

Brad chuckled. "You all look alike to me," he shrugged. "I can't be bothered remembering your weird ass names."

Hoshi's left eyes twitched in anger. "If you don't have anything important to say to me, I'll be on my way then."

Hoshi turned away, but Brad's words stopped him in his tracks.

"You're going to regret trying to get close to Adina," he called. "She's a horrible person and a fake."

"And a whore and slut," Corey added and they laughed.

"The only horrible people here are you guys," Hoshi said and gave them an evil grin. "All the rumours you spread about her are all lies. I'm pretty sure it was you who cheated on her with the tomato head by your side."

"Hey," Corey exclaimed.

"You both make a cute couple," He grinned at them. "Hope you both rot in hell for all the shitty things you've done."
