"Fuck it. Date me."

"W-what?"

Luna was sure. She had been putting off her feelings for way too long, and she had to make a decision now. "Date me, please. Jiminie, I love you, and I, I want to kiss you and make you feel loved, just like you have made me feel these many years."

Jimin sighed. He put his head in his arms, as an inner debate started within him. "Luna... I.." Jimin looked down, as he said these next few words. "Luna, I, I don't feel the same. I'm sorry."

They both sat in silence for the next few minutes. Everything froze for them, and everything turned grey. Because now, Luna had nothing to live for. Tae stopped loving her, and so did Jimin. They both were the lifelines of Luna, and she didn't want to force him into liking her. "Oh." She spoke after what seemed like half hour of silence. "Um, okay." Luna just opened the door and got out of the car. "Luna?" She looked at him, through the window. "Shall I drop you home?" "No it's fine, I'll walk home." Luna just pat the window, and left him there.

Jimin was hurt, cz he didn't know why he did that. Truth be told, he was waiting for this. He was waiting for her to fall in love with him. Jimin could have stopped her if he wanted. And he so wanted to. He wanted to hold her close, and tell her everything will be alright. He wanted to drop her home, tuck her in, peck her forehead, and sing her to sleep.

But he didn't do any of this. He just sat there, in his car, staring at her through the front mirror. He then remembered how much he's suffered because of her. All the panic attacks, all the sleepless nights because of her, for her. Jimin sat there, tears threatening to fall down from his eyes, as he saw Luna walk away slowly.

Luna woke up next morning to a headache. She groaned in pain, as she sat up in bed. She finally got up after a while, made herself some warm tea and went to brush. Memories of last night started to flood her brain as she brushed her teeth, but she didn't want to remember all of it. It was a mistake, a lapse of judgment.
Sure, Luna. Sure.

She washed her face, trying to remove last night's memory and went to check on her tea. She took her phone with her as she checked the news. One article caught her eye, it was titled, "Is the Kpop star Park Jimin secretly dating someone?" She chuckled and clicked on the article just to see what bullshit they've written and got up as she saw which photo they've posted. It was a photo of them. "Park Jimin was seen with a cute girl wearing a blue beanie, but the girl left the car, he didn't drop her home. Is the Park Jimin, who likes to keep his personal life secret, having trouble in his love life?" Luna couldn't believe the shit writers wrote.
Kuch bhi?!

'Shit. What if Jimin read this?!' She quickly called Jimin, but he didn't pick up. 'Oh God pick up Jiminie, please pick up.' She tried calling him three times but he didn't answer. Jimin, on the other hand, was practicing his choreography to take his mind off Luna. He didn't really care what writers wrote about him, or whether they followed him and clicked photos of him. What he did have a problem with if any of one his friends were used to gain publicity for his actions/mistakes.

Luna didn't know what to do. She thought of calling Tae, but then thought better of it. 'He'll just be mad at me for posing for the reporters, stupid pabo that he is'. Tbh, Luna liked being called Jimin's girlfriend, even if it was fake. But she knew that Jimin would be really disappointed that the news reporters did him dirty, so she thought of stepping up and resolving this problem herself.

So, Luna did what Luna did best.
Yeah, she called the reporters herself and made a even bigger deal of this petty news article than it already was.
Not great, Luna.

Right on time though, Jimin called Luna and asked her about this mess. "Luna wtf?" "Thank God you called." "Thank God I called? What kind of shit have you done? You know what, stay there, I'm coming." Luna was shocked. She had never heard Jimin this pissed, and he should be pissed, but not at her, at those stupid idiotic reporters who don't know what a friend is. She was stressed, so she started cleaning.

As she was cleaning the platform she heard her bell ring. She rushed to open the door, and saw Jimin looking super dapper, with sunglasses, skin tight jeans, and with a red and white loose shirt, standing there, staring at her. Before giving her a chance to speak, he got in, sat on the couch.

"What do you propose we do now?" Luna you better pick up your mouth. "Um I could talk to the reporters, tell them they've gotten it wrong." "And what? Let it spread to all the news stations? Are you crazy Luna? Do you have any sense or have you totally lost it?! Do you know how hard it's been for me to gain my reputation? I'm not going to lose it just because some scandalous news agency just clicked one picture." Jimin was really mad. He got up, bent down where Luna was sitting. "Listen, I'm sorry, but both you and I know that I've been through a lot because of you. I've gotten so many panic attacks, so many anxiety attacks, because of you. I've worked really hard on myself, these past 10 years weren't easy Luna, not for me, not for you, not for Tae. I understand that you've also been through a lot, but I'm done taking the blame for you. I'm done. I need to live my own life now, and I sincerely hope you understand that." Jimin was shaking when he spoke the last line. He himself didn't know what he was speaking. But, Luna understood. Luna had seen Jimin being there for her more than anyone else, so she definitely understood his point of view.

Luna just nodded, and held his hand, and fake smiled. "I understand. It's okay." Till then her doorbell rang, again. Luna got up to see who it was, and it was Tae.

"Oh, you're obviously here." "What's that supposed to mean?" Jimin got up, already infuriated, and Tae was doing nothing but adding oil to the already burning fire. Jimin had had enough. He left the place, to which Luna sighed. Tae pulled her to look at him. "Luna, I have a question to ask you." She looked at him, "When we were dating, did you actually love me? Or was it all just a show? Am I really yours?" Luna looked down, not knowing what to answer. Tae understood what she meant.

"Got it." Tae nodded, and left, with a single tear dropping down his face.
