Poseidon POV

Zeus is a bastard, don't let anyone tell you any differently. His arrogance and pride anger me to no end but I can manage that. But then there's his paranoia, he thinks everyone is trying to steal his throne. This is the 3rd time this week that he's accused me of treason and attempting to depose the king. I mean seriously he needs to calm down, if I wanted his throne I would have took it a long time ago. Running the sea is hard enough never mind adding the skies and Olympus to my workload. The argument was really bad this time, like even worse than usual. He started off with a long speech stating how great he was and how I am nothing compared to him. Next seemingly wanting to put on a show of force, he blew up one of the pacific islands. That really got me pissed off, he can't just go around killing innocent people for no reason. He can't kill innocent people for any reason but you get my point. Then comes the reason I'm here, at the end of the meeting when everyone had left he walked over to me and said

"where's Perseus, is he well?"

"Yes he is" I responded coldly wondering why he even mentioned my son. "Speaking of which" I thought "I need to visit Percy, I haven't seen him since the giant war."

"Oh I wouldn't be so sure brother"

So now I find myself swiftly walking through camp half blood in search of my son. Zeus's threat/ominous warning is probably nothing, he probably just did it to scare me but I have to be sure. And even if it is nothing I'll get to see my son, something I need after the day I've had. It always pains me to watch my demigod children die but Percy is different, he's special. He's just...well..perfect, I know that sounds really cheesy but it's true. He's funny, energetic, sarcastic and he always knows how to make me smile. I've been debating with myself on how to ask him to become my immortal son and heir for a while now. I just can't bear to eventually watch him die knowing I'm powerless to prevent it. What use is it being a god and having all this power if you can't use it to save those you love. Only problem is Percy doesn't want to be immortal, that was proven when he turned down godhood. So I don't know how I can convince him to accept immortality but I have to try, I couldn't live with myself if he died a mortal death and I could have tried harder to prevent it. Arriving at my cabin, I realise no ones inside and I notice something on the floor..blood. Filled with worry I set off to the big house to find out what the hell happened to my son, when I spot something rather strange. There was a group of kids surrounding one who seemed to be on the floor, they seemed to be holding something that looked like weapons. Changing direction, i crept up closer to see what was going on. The scene that was unfolding before me rendered me speechless with shock and horror. It was the Athena kids, and they were torturing a poor boy who looked to be nearly drowning in his own blood. He wasn't even fighting back either, he was letting them come at him though he couldn't have done anything in his state anyway. The boy also looked familiar, looking closer at the boy my heart stopped...Percy. Rage unlike anything I felt before swelled up inside of me as I jumped out from the building I was watching from. I want to utterly destroy the stupid Athena spawns who dare torture his son. I pointed my trident and the chest of the guy closest to me and a beam of light shot out of it killing him instantly. The rest had noticed my presence and were cowering in fear, I showed no mercy. I approached the group the ground rumbling beneath my feet, I thrust out my arm and one of the guys at the front came flying into my hand upon which I promptly snapped his neck. Throwing his body to the Side I continued to advance on the rest

"no" a small almost inaudible voice spoke from slightly to my left.

Then I remembered why I was so angry, "Percy" I whisper worriedly running over to where he is lying on the ground half dead. "I swear on the Styx you will pay for this" I roar at the Athena kids before flashing me and Percy out of camp
