𝒩𝑜𝓉𝑒: 𝒯𝒽𝑒𝓎 𝒶𝓇𝑒 𝓈𝓁𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉𝓁𝓎 𝑜𝓁𝒹𝑒𝓇 𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒 - 𝒶𝓇𝑜𝓊𝓃𝒹 13-15

Enough. She's had enough. She couldn't take it anymore, she was going to go crazy if she had to play another damned game of hide and seek. The twins had kept pestering Florentia to play with them and she agreed but if she had know how tiring it was, she would have refused. They were so lively, game after game after game - where do they get all this energy from?

Currently, she was hiding from the twins behind a rose bush. She crouched down to hide her small body into the surroundings. She could easily smell the scent of the roses that grew on the bush and the aroma was quite charming. One particular vibrant rose laid right in front of her and she reached to grab it.

"Ouch!"

Blood started to drip down her finger. The brunette had forgotten about the thorns. Still, she thought of it as no big deal and would treat her injury after this game was finally over. At least she now had an excuse to get out of playtime with the twins. Impatience started to take over her as she grew more and more annoyed. It seemed as though they were taking forever to find her.

"Florentia? Is that you?"

Abruptly, a voice emerged and had startled her - she turned her head round and was met with ruby red eyes. Just the same colour as the luscious roses. Perez.

It didn't take long for him to run over to her and to embrace her into a hug. He missed her. Her soft brown curls and emerald eyes that sparkled like stars. Florentia had known he felt comfortable around her but when he expressed his care for her in ways such as this she couldn't help but feel as if her heart was melting.

She lifted her arms to put around him but as she did she felt a sharp pain in her hand which made her wince. Perez had noticed this and caught sight of her bleeding finger when his eyes started to widen.

"Hurry, lets go - we need to go inside"

He grabbed hold of her other hand and lead her out of the forest. He looked so serious and she had never seen this look on this face. She couldn't hold her laughter back.

"Perez, are you worried about me?"

She asked in a serious manner but when Perez's face turned slight red she wanted to tease him a bit.

"Awe you are worried after all!" She joked as she smiled. Once Perez saw her smile, something in his chest started beating faster.

"So what if I am worried?"

He then stopped at the big wooden door and turned around to face her.

"I'm always worried about you Florentia"

Then he turned the handle and opened the door. They walked in  and he told her to sit down as he rummaged through the drawers. Florentia sat down as she wondered what he was looking for. Though, she hadn't noticed her cheeks had gone a light pink.

Perez found what he was looking for and came to her.

"Show me your hand"

Florentia ,unconsciously, put her hand out and Perez lightly took hold of her hand and applied an ointment to her scar. The room had become silent as he bandaged her injury. Florentia felt as if something about the boy had changed.

"There, it's done." He said as he finished the first wrapping. He looked up at her - straight into her eyes. Their eyes didn't leave each other as they stayed in that position. They didn't speak, just stared at each other's eyes. It was as if they were transfixed into that spot.

"Florentia, don't get hurt again , alright?"

As she opened her mouth to speak, the door bursted open. They turned their heads to the door where two energetic boys stood but they looked exhausted and out of breath.

"We-we finally found you.."

They sighed.
