𝕐𝕖𝕣𝕖𝕟𝕚𝕔𝕒 𝕩 𝔼𝕣𝕦𝕕𝕚𝕒𝕟 (𝟙)

As they continued to converse, they had rose tea with a table full of cakes, macaroons, eclairs, muffins and more. Yerenica was enjoying herself as she hadn't had such a deep conversation with Erudian in a while.

They had been in the palace garden for hours now as it was their regular spot to have tea. It had been quite a warm day and a gentle breeze blew past. They hadn't realised but the sky was starting to light up with twinkling stars as the sky became a faint red and orange.

Yerenica was starting to get tired but she didn't want this blissful day to end. She cherished the moments she had with Erudian. Yet, it was clear that both of them were growing tired. As they sat in a comfortable silence, Erudian yawned slightly.

"Yeah, being so pretty must be tiring for you." She mumbled unconsciously without realising what she said.

"Then you must be exhausted."

Erudian said, causing Yerenica's eyes to widen as she properly looked at him. She understood what he meant and then she glanced side to side, well she just wanted to avoid eye contact. She didn't know whether to respond or not, so she chose to look up at the now more red sky which was evidently the same colour as her face.

However, she felt his stare on her as she fidgeted. Erudian continued watching her as he thought about how well the night sky illuminated her alluring features and how her pink locks swayed from side to side.

He couldn't explain what he felt but his breath hitched and his chest tightened.

"Princess, it's getting too dark."

He said as he stood up from his chair and she followed him. Erudian walked her back to her room before leaving. As he told her goodnight, he was about to leave when he felt someone wrap the arms around him from behind.

"Don't go."

Yerenica whispered as she felt her eyes closing. Erudian picked her up and opened the bedroom door. He placed her down on her bed and sat next to her. She smiled softly as she drifted to sleep.

Erudian leaned over her and placed a kiss on her forehead as he murmured,

"Have sweet dreams."
