𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐒𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞

As she sprayed a bit of vanilla perfume onto her, she took a look at herself in the mirror. The maids had put an enormous amount of effort into her outfit today and she had spent what felt like hours in the dressing room. Though, they had done a quite a spectacular job if she said so herself.

She wore a simple but elegant light rose dress that fit her perfectly. Her hair had been brushed out and a bit of it was shaped into a bun at the back of her hair, which was adorned with a pink ribbon. She had light makeup on and all that she had left was to put the jewel necklace on.

She picked the necklace up and stood up from the chair. She walked over to the full body mirror and tried to wear the necklace yet she couldn't hook it on properly.

She was getting irritated when she felt a pair of eyes on her but it felt familiar. She looked into the mirror and behind her stood Dylan, dressed up and ready for the ball. This particular ball was a special occasion - it was a ball to celebrate Charlize's birthday.

"Dylan, what are you doing here?" She asked as she thought he would already be at the ball.

"I came to escort you, remember?"

He reminded her as Charlize seemed to have forgotten.

"Oh right, it must have slipped my mind - I'll be ready to go in a minute."

She told him while attempted to put the necklace on. Dylan leaned against the doorway while he watched her. His sapphire blue eyes took in her whole appearance as he felt his heartbeat faster. She looked enchanting and he was becoming more and more infatuated with her.

He started to walk over to her and she turned around to face him.

"Let me put the necklace on."

He said as he put his hand out. She decided to just let him as they were going to be late. As she handed him the necklace, she turned back round to face the mirror. Charlize watched him while he moved her hair to the side as he leaned in closer. He placed the necklace round her neck and latched it on. He stayed in the position.

"Dylan?"

She said to him. He leaned close to her ear and she felt his warm breath on her skin. She could smell his perfume as she heard his voice.

"You look amazing."

He whispered into her ears and then stepped back. Dylan reached his hand out to escort her as Charlize put her hand on his.

Then they made their way to the ball in silence as Charlize kept on thinking about the events of what happened. Even as the ball ended, she couldn't get it off her mind.

While being walked back to her room by Dylan - because he insisted on it- she was deep in thought when she realized she was already at her door.

"Well, thank you, Dylan, for the ball and for escorting me today."

Charlize said she smiled towards him. Her smile made him go insane and he wished he would only smile that way for him.

"Charlize." He called her name out and she turned back round as she was about to open the door.

"Yes?" She replied as she looked at him.

"I-is it alright if I hug you?"

Dylan asked with slight hesitation. He didn't want to overstep his boundaries and make her feel uncomfortable. Charlize only laughed in response as she put her arms around him. Dylan quickly buried his face in her shoulder as he enjoyed every moment with her.

However, something took over him as he saw the soft skin uncovered by her dress. The thoughts he suddenly started to have made him go crazy and he felt he couldn't hold himself back anymore. He placed his lips on her neck as Charlize flinched in surprise.

Dylan noticed and quickly stepped away.

"I-I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me"

He apologised as he looked down in shame. He had just blown it and now she was going to hate him. He waited for her response but heard nothing. Then he felt a warm hand on his cheek and looked up to see Charlize standing in front of him.

"I knew there was something wrong today." She said as she looked into his eyes. Dylan was confused when he heard her words. Was she going to leave him?

As she turned around, she opened the door to her bedroom and pulled him inside with her hands. Dylan still remained puzzled as he saw her close the door behind her. The windows were still open as the light of the crescent moon shone through.

"Why don't we continue off from where you started?"

Charlize told him as she walked towards him. Dylan's eyes widened in surprise at what she was suggesting.

It was going to be one long night.
