Chapter 12: "O-oh...My...most...precious...treasure~"

Author's note: warning this contains blood and a graphic home birth!

A month later Rougefort was resting in bed late one night when they suddenly woke up feeling uncomfortable and a dull constant throbbing in their lower back with was very painful.

Also their pelvis had a sensation like lower abominable pressure and it really hurt a lot! "O-ow oh no, no no no!" Rougefort sat up with a wince and turned on their light.

They looked between their legs and saw jam...a lot of it and their belly tightened and they cried out in pain. "Oh sweet earthbread not now!" Rougefort said in a panic and they cried out in pain.

This was early! Too early! They weren't ready! Another contraction suddenly whacked their body and Rougefort grabbed their pillow and screamed into it as their legs quivered hard.

"Oh goodness, oh my goodness" Rougefort panted and they couldn't move to get help or call anyone too and it was scaring Rougefort a lot and they soon felt another contraction.

"Ah!" Rougefort breathed and cried softly and carefully got comfortable and adjusted themselves and got their bed in a comfortable position for the birth and they felt so afraid of this.

But they had to be strong and brave for their child and themselves. "Ok little one I need you to work with me on this and we'll be ok~" Rougefort whispered softly and rubbed their belly.

A sharp pain and kick was their answer and Rougefort cried out and covered their mouth with their forearm and screamed in pain as their legs quivered harder and cried softly.

"Ok if I am correct when the contractions get closer it means I'm going to be giving birth soon" they mumbled to themselves and rubbed their belly more.

Soon the contractions were so painful and so strong Rougefort felt to see if they were fully dilated and felt a bit of the small head and they shook hard and breathed harder and felt more scared.

"O-ok this hurts a lot, I can see why they call this a labour of l-AHHH!" A sudden gush of watery jam spilled onto their bed and their hand and they pulled their hand away and wiped it off.

"Ok this is nasty but it's be ok I'm ok~" Rougefort whispered as they breathed through the pain. And they felt the baby kick and dipping lower and this was very VERY PAINFUL!

"AHHHHHHH! oh my god! This is so painful!" They suddenly screamed out loud and felt their lower area again and the head was definitely starting to bulge out and they cried more.

"Ok you're definitely starting to come out so I guess it's time to push you out!" Rougefort said through their panting. "Just please don't be difficult for me...ok?" they whispered in fear.

Soon the next contraction whacked them and their gripped their sheets and bore down and pushed hard "ow ow ow ow!" Rougefort screamed and their legs shook hard and they sobbed.

This was agonizing for Rougefort but they kept going for their child and himself as well. "Come on my jewel come to mommy!" They screamed in pain and they felt the head slip out.

This made them gasp and gently and carefully grab it. No cord was thankfully not around their neck so they took a moment and pushed hard again and screamed loudly as they could.

Suddenly a loud high pitched wail answered Rougefort's scream as they gently pulled the very tiny baby out and layed them on their chest and they went limp and layed their back in exhaustion.

"O-oh...my...most...precious treasure~" they panted hard. "You're...finally...here~" they said weakly and they looked at their wailing baby and smiled at them warmly at them.
