Chapter 17: Bean's first birthday!

3 months later it was a very exciting day for the little family since it was Bean's first birthday and Rougefort was excited about it as they went all out to make sure it was the best birthday ever!

They quickly hung up more streamers and a banner was hung up that read "Happy Birthday Beanie!!!" And they made a chocolate cake with vanilla icing and they still had more to do!

"Rougefort why don't you sit down and play with Bean? You've been up on your feet since 6 this morning~" Almond said and she saw Rougefort yawn and look tired and drained from trying so hard.

"I will soon I just need to-" "Nope no more work, you tell me to take it easy so I want you to take it easy too~" Almond whispered and he pulled them close and smiled at them warmly and kissed them.

This made Rougefort smile and kiss him back and went into the living room where Walnut was holding Bean up as he stood up and his legs wobbled hard and she smiled at him.

"Come on Bean walk!" She said and she took his hands and walked backwards trying to get him to move his legs and walk after her. But Bean only almost fell until Rougefort caught him.

"Here let me help you honey~" Rougefort said with a smile and he stood Bean up again and soon Bean tried but fell again and they smiled and praised him for trying his best.

"Good try my precious jewel~" Rougefort said with a smile and Walnut smiled and hugged him and Bean cooed and smiled at them and reached for Walnut wanting to try again.

Later they had a party with some friends and Bean was having a great time and watched his parents have a conversation with Espresso and his husband Madeleine.

He felt a little left out and he pulled himself up and stood with his legs wobbling and slowly took a step forward and then another then another as Madeleine looked over and gasped.

"By Devine! Your son is walking my friends!" He boomed and the others quickly looked and Almond teared up as Rougefort knelt down with their arms outstretched for him to walk to them.

"Hmm by my calculations he's the right age to be walking" Espresso said with a smile and Bean soon got to his mother's arms and hugged him and Rougefort smiled back and hugged him softly.

"That's my baby~" Rougefort whispered softly and he and Almond hugged him as they had the best present from their boy. Him walking to them all by himself and having no help.

And they all had a great time with everyone and Bean walked more that day to everyone he wanted too and had a great first birthday with everyone as well as his parents as well.

That night Rougefort hummed his kids to sleep as Almond looked for something on his computer and smiled at what he found and made plans for the next day with his partner.

"This will be perfect" he whispered and he exited out from the website and crawled into bed and waited for his lover with a smilevon his face and texted Latte to watch the kids tomorrow.

Soon she replied with a yes and thumbs-up and he smiled and put his phone away and soon Rougefort walked over and crawled into the bed and hugged Almond and snuggled close.

"We're going out on a date tomorrow, wear something nice~" Almond whispered and Rougefort smiled and kissed him. "Ok and I'm so happy we're together again" they cooed softly.

"Me too Rougefort, me too~" Almond whispered and he kissed them and soon he was asleep and Rougefort smiled and soon they followed behind him and they held onto Almond who held them.
