꒰ chapter three ꒱

jakes was squirming around his bed as he let out little whimpers, turning over and over wishing he could just get out of that beautiful nightmare.

he was breathing loudly as he was covered in sweat, letting out small screams for help, but no one was there, anymore.

he's alone, he didn't want to be alone anymore.

"euijoo!" he opened his eyes and tears began rolling down his cheeks, his chest going up and down as he stared blankly at the ceiling, he couldn't move at all as fear and guilt ran through his body.

it felt as if the cold room was getting smaller and smaller each second, his breath hitched as he suddenly felt claustrophobic, he sobbed as panic rushed through his body...

he screamed at the top of his lungs, but who was there to hear his cries for help?

That's when he suddenly stopped breathing, the air felt small, tears quickly rolling down his face.

he quickly snapped out of it, he gasped for air, and began breathing heavily. "s-someone help.." he quietly cried out to no one and hugged his blanket as he cried himself to sleep.

he wished that someday euijoo would come back, and just give him a hug.

having bad nightmares was like a routine for jake, even though it has happened multiple times he wasn't used to it, he dealt with it alone.

"hey pup" a voice suddenly called out as jake roamed through the halls of the school. "puppy!" sunghoon walked infront of jake, making jake stop too.

"oh! hey there sunghoon!" jake waved his hand as he faked a smile at the boy infront of him, jake couldn't believe he lost his first kiss to a guy like him.

"where are you off to?" sunghoon asked.

"i don't know, just walking around i guess." jake said, as he stared at the latter, that's when sunghoon grabbed jakes hands and smiled. "good, let me take you somewhere." without letting jake answer he dragged him.

"i thought we were not supposed to come here." jake mumbled as they walked up the stairs, going to the rooftop.

"okay? no one will know about this anyways." sunghoon said, opening the door as the fresh air to hit their faces.

sunghoon didn't let go of his hands and walked to the fence, to look down at the ground. "don't you think the view looks pretty?" he said while looking at the blue clouds, jake nodded his head as a smile crept in.

"but you're even prettier." sunghoon said with a smirk, he looked at jake as the boy faked a giggle, well that was cringe.

"you're so cute." sunghoon said with a grin, jake sucked his lower lip and lightly blushed at the compliment, of course he stayed in act, but he wasn't so sure when to actually start his plan.

oh no.. his eyes.. again. jake melted in sunghoons brown eyes, he nervously giggled as jake tried to avoid eye contact and leaned on the fence, to look at the ground but sunghoon suddenly pulled the older into a hug.

jake wasn't a love expert but, something was off, it wasn't in a flirtatious way, it was more like a hug when people are sad, it confused him.

"pup, do you ever have bad dreams... to the point you just want to end it all?" sunghoon mumbled, holding the boy closely as jake widen his eyes at sunghoons words.

that was so sudden, he was not expecting that at all, especially coming from sunghoon, and it's the way he had one of the most worst nightmare that day. it was strange.

even though jake wanted to push the guy off him, he felt a sudden warmth on him, it was like he understood even though he barely said anything.

pulling the guy closer into a hug, he felt sunghoons body melt into his, and he understood why just by the feeling.

jake touched sunghoons hair, tangling his fingers onto the soft dark locks, playing with the youngers hair as the boy hummed a little melody.

"i can't remember the last time someone's hug actually felt nice and cozy..." sunghoon revealed, at this point jake didn't know if the younger boy was lying or not, but let's just say that jake ended up believing him.

as jake was about to pull away, sunghoon tighten his embrace. "please don't, i want to remember what a passionate hug feels like." the guy said, before falling to the ground.

jake was shocked, what the fuck just happened.

jake quickly knelt down and tapped the boy who was now unconscious, shaking the boy as fear rushed through his body.

"wake up! sunghoon!" jake bit his lip, his movements weren't working, so he just put sunghoon on his back and quickly made his way to the infirmary.

jake sighed, looking at the boy who was laying on the bed, the nurse just said that he should rest for now.

time passed and jake stayed there, by sunghoons side, wanting to know if he would be okay.

"why am i worried about him.. he's just a stranger." jake mumbled, it hadn't even been a week since they met and jake hasn't even started his plan.

"strangers huh?" sunghoon fluttered his eyes opened, looking at jake who let out a little awkward chuckle.

"oh you're awake, then i should leave then." jake scoffed, getting up and brushed his sweater, as he was just about to walk away, the younger held onto the boys wrist and pulled him on bed.

now jake was on top of sunghoon, jake was flustered at the sudden action so he tried to get up but sunghoon brought him even more closer. "my pup is so cute."

jake gulped, it was sunghoons eyes again, his eyes were so beautiful, it was a struggle for jake to not look away, jakes eyes moved to the side as he was too shocked to even think.

sunghoon smirked at the boys reaction, he was so adorable.

as sunghoon was just about to close the gap jake immediately stood up, breathing heavily as he walked over to a fake plant. "oh wow! this plant is so nice! oh wait! why not you look at the time, i should leave."

with that, jake immediately rushed out, his heart raced uncontrollably and it bothered him so much.

he almost gave in, he almost forgot about everything sunghoon did.
