FlowerFell AU, this is an AU of Undertale, my favorite out of all of them yet the saddest. The song is one of my favorites

Cast:
Orange is Sans
Sabre is Frisk
Gerald is Flowey
Citrine is Papyrus (referred as Leader by Orange)
Violet is Grillby
Ray is Torial (the first Red Steve Sabre met)

Monsters are known as Entities

"Thank you"

Orange's head perked up when he heard the human's words just before he walked away. The interaction he has with the human was all too familiar, as though this was not the first time he heard those words from his mouth. He was going to stay at his station or else Leader would punish him again.

'Thank you'

Those words, they repeated in his head along with the same smile that held warmth never seen in any other entity in the Underground. Orange felt something inside of him, telling him to follow the human, follow the boy who continue to smile at him after being killed so many times by him. Running in the direction of the human, Orange manages to find them, but he was too late as he was struck down by an entity.

Orange blinked, he was back at his sentry station, this all felt familiar.

"Excuse me"

The entity looks in front of him, it was the same human holding a small pig that was glaring at him.

"What can I do for you sweetheart?" Orange greeted the same way as before, word-by-word with a smile that showed anything but happiness.

The human smiled, "Can you tell me where the closest place to rest?"

"Come on, we already know where it is why ask this smiling trash bag?" The pig huffed getting a 'Gerald' from the human.

"Keep on talking like that and I'm going to have some good old pork chops" Orange smirk and lick his lips.

"Sorry about him" The brunet's smile seemed so sincere that Orange waved him off, trying to ignore the feeling in his chest.

"It an't nothing sweetheart, now go on your little way"

"Thank you"

The same two words, the same smile, this human's soul is filled with determination but kindness seems to run his entire being. Before the human walk away, Orange spoke,

"I'm not one to capture a human, too much effort, now my brother is a different story, he's usually doing his runs around this time. He'll do anything to bring your soul straight to the king, him and the royal guards. " Orange didn't even know why he bothered to warn this human, he's weak and wouldn't even stand against anyone.

The human frowned, biting his lip before smiling sadly, "Thank you for the warning, we'll be careful"

Before he left, the brunet turned back to Orange, "By the way, what is your name?"

"Hm? The name's Orange sweetheart" Orange winked.

"Nice to meet you Orange, I'm Sabre and this is Gerald" The human, Sabre, smiled, "I hope to see you again"

Like last time, and times before, Orange watch as Sabre walk off, he still had the same confidence even after knowing there are entities that would kill him for his soul.

'Tch' Orange turned his attention where Sabre once stood and seen a gold flower on the snow, 'This human is too much work'

Gritting his teeth, Orange teleport away from his station. He was able to find the human before his brother, in fact, he was directly in front of him.

"Whoa!" Sabre gasped and took a step back.

"What the actually f*ck?!" Gerald screamed.

"Hey there sweetheart, thought you could use a shortcut, getting tired of greeting you and having the same conversation" Orange shrugged, "I'm getting bone tired it"

Sabre tried to stiffen a laugh, "Sorry about that, I didn't think no body would notice"

Orange chuckled just a bit as he waved him off, "Ehh, it's whatever sweetheart"

Before anything else could be said from any of the three, a loud voice called out surprising the two newcomers.

"ORANGE! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE YOU LAZY BONES?!" An entity stormed to them.

"Quickly Sabre, behind that convolutely shape rock!" Gerald shouted and the brunet was quick to comply.

"Hey there Leader" Orange greeted.

"ORANGE! WHY AREN'T YOU AT YOUR SENTRY STATION?! A HUMAN COULD COME BY AT ANY MOMENT AND I DON'T WANT YOU TO RUIN MY CHANCES OF BECOME APART OF THE ROYAL GUARD!" The entity, Leader, shouted.

"Sorry Leader, just taking a break" Orange shrugged, not bothered by his brother's loud voice, "I'm bone tired right now"

"YOU AND THOSE SILLY PUNS! AND YOU TOOK A BREAK NOT TO LONG AGO!"

"Come on Leader, don't want me sleeping on the job don't ya? Especially when a human could come by" Orange winked.

Leader let out an annoyed groan, "FINE! BUT I BETTER SEE YOU BACK AT YOU POST IN ONE HOUR!"

"You go it Leader"

Leader then speed/stomped off away and once he was out of sight, Sabre came out of hiding and walk until he was near Orange.

"Um, thanks for not telling him" Sabre smiled shyly, he was still confused on why the entity is helping him even though, according to Ray, they only need one more human soul to escape the underground.

"Ehh, it's took much of a pain to hear him boast about capturing a human" Orange shrugs, "Anyways, I know a great place to eat, want to grab some grub?"

Orange held out his hand to which Sabre took it with little hesitation much to Gerald's disappointment. The two some how appeared in front of a building named 'Violet's' though the 't' and ' 's ' was scratch off and 'nce' was added. The duo entered and walk passed all sorts of scary entities, in Sabre's eyes, and Sabre did his best to remine calm.

Once they sat down, Orange called the bartender over.

"Hey Violet, I'll have my usual and sweetheart here will have a plate of finger fries" Orange said and the purple flame entity went to get their order.

Sabre shifted uncomfortably, "Um, are finger fries actually fingers?"

"Heh, you're funny sweetheart" Orange smirk, not really answering the question.

Thankfully, finger fries is another name for French fries down here. As Sabre slowly ate, Orange was drinking mustard which was odd but who was the brunet to judge.

"So sweetheart, what are you planning to do? I mean there are several monsters after you, mainly your soul" Orange pointed to Sabre's chest.

"I..I wanted to talk to the king" Sabre said playing with the sleeves of his jacket, "M-Maybe we can work something out?"

"And if you can't?"

Sabre gave the entity a sad smile, "Then I guess I'll accept what will happen. Besides, at least I tried and all of you will be freed in the end"

Orange didn't say anything, his eyes dimmed just a bit, not noticeable unless you look carefully.

"Well, since you're going on a suicide mission, might as well show you the underground. Besides, gives me a reason not to go back to work" Orange said.

"Really? That would be great" Sabre grinned, pushing the fear of potential death down in the back of his mind.

"Come on sweetheart, let's get you to the king"
