Yanny x Amethyst

Yanny wasn't always crazy for the Violet Leader, in fact, he and Amethyst were always at each other's throats when they were younger. Competing over the littlest things and arguing when one disagrees with the decision; however, they would spend more time with each other than anyone else. 

Amethyst had his own friends before Yanny moved to his tribe. The former is known for his obnoxious behavior being the next leader for their tribe, using it to his advantage to get whatever he wanted as no one wanted to mess with their leader's son. That was until Yanny came into the picture. Yanny is a few months younger than Amethyst, but thanks to genetics, he was taller, making him look intimidating. 

 Ever since Yanny called Amethyst out, it's been those two with no one else. Many found their relationship confusing and most just let it be as they weren't hurting anyone (besides themselves from dumb activities). 

Currently, the duo was in Yanny's room: Yanny on his bed and Amethyst sitting on the floor.

"Hey Ame" Yanny said to get the just older Steve's attention.

"I told you not to call me that" Amethyst glared.

"Yeah yeah" Yanny caring not at all, "Anyways, family and I are going to visit relatives. We're leaving tomorrow and coming back about a week or so."

Amethyst groaned, "You couldn't have told me sooner? Could have gotten farewell food or something."

"I'm not leave permanently." Yanny flicked Amethyst's forehead, "Besides, who else is going to pester you to no ends of the world."

Amethyst rolled his eyes, "I wish you would, then no one would refuse me."

"Sorry for not bowing down to you, 'future Violet Leader'." Yanny snorted, "You're nothing but a brat."

"And you're just a pest."

"Are you boys fighting again?" Yanny's mom said from the hallway.

It was a rule for Yanny not to close the door while Amethyst was present in the house. Even though Yanny didn't care about Amethyst being the future leader, his parents and siblings did.

"We're not ma" Yanny groaned, "Just telling him we'll be leaving for a couple of weeks."

Yanny's mom pursed her lips, she is confused, like many others, about the boy's relationship, but as long as they weren't fighting.

"Alright, Amethyst, you should head home, it's getting late and your father-."

"He's sleeping here tonight ma" Yanny interrupted, "I told you earlier and yes his pa is fine with it."

She nods, "Alright then. Let me know if you need anything else."

"Will do" Yanny answered for them both.

Once she left, Yanny looks to Amethyst, "Geez, I told her earlier and after lunch, she always-"

"It's whatever" Amethyst signs, "What time are you leaving?"

"After lunch more than likely." Yanny frowns, "Are you alright?"

The older rubbed his face, "Tired."
