Prompt: Where RQ darkness manage to get to the RAINBOW HUB and took Sabre and brought him back to their master who's named Darkness and apparently the real threat that every steve were afraid off and not the minions

I like this idea/ship in all honestly. This also give me an idea for a Rainbow Quest book and shows more family dynamics.

He first saw him exploring a forest through the eyes of a scout. At first glance the being seemed nothing of interest, a pawn in his game at most. That was the idea until it came clear the being was something different aside from being a human: he didn't submit to the darkness, submit to his greatest desire as most do. He only seen this in three Steves, one in his clutches, the other too far for him to calm and the final eventually surrendered to him. After watching how the human interacted with his minions, He only desired to add the boy to his collection; a prize to show the rest of the world.

(I wrote that paragraph almost five times before getting it right)

Unfortunately, this proved to be easier to say than do. The boy, Sabre as He learnt, was always holding a crystal, one of the few things He could not fight against and win. Even before, that Orange Steve kept some of the darkness away being half of the Orange Crystal and his power only grew with each passing day. Both destroyed his dark forces, even almost destroying Nightmare, the Steve who surrendered to him for power.

Darkness sat on his throne, drumming his fingers on his chair as he thought of ways to capture the brunet. Beside him was a particular Yellow Steve who has one of his ankles chained so he couldn't run away.

"You'll never get him" The Steve growled.

Darkness smirk looking the being, even after all this time, the male still has a never-ending fire, "We'll see, once I have that boy and one other, I will show this world true darkness."

"When Sabre finds the hero, you'll be powerless. You may have me now, but your doom is coming."

"Come now, you know as much as I: darkness is always where light is. One can't live without the other, only control it. By me having all three of you, no one can resist the temptation to want. Speaking of which, you want anything, cherry blossom?"

"I want you to stop calling me that" The Steve growled, "I also want you to release me and leave this world!"

"Hmmm" Darkness pretended to think, "How about, no"

The Steve scoff and look away.

"Oh Hikari, dearest cherry blossom, think about it this way" The Darkness made Hikari face him, "you'll have more to talk to. Once those two are in my grasp, you'll have your precious best friend back. Void will have his hands on his brother once more. Sabre, well, won't be abandon as those so-called ones of light are currently doing *chuckles*, For now, you're here to stay"

'If there's a being above, don't let this thing get his hands on either of them, especially Sabre'

Unfortunately, the wish was never answered as Darkness spread his influence further and further, corrupting more Steves with each passing day. The more Steves that are corrupted, the more Sabre is forced to turn to the darkness yet is still out of reach for Darkness to capture. The same couldn't be said about Kyanite as he was captured when the darkness invaded the spirit world and now held capture with Hikari.

Darkness growled in frustration, every single time he gets close, the human manages to slip from his grip. He can't unleash his full power without taking the last light of this world, the last hope. Glancing to his left, two of the world's lights sat next to each other, both still fueled with a never-ending flame even with their home being consumed.

With a snap of his fingers, Void and Nightmare appeared, bowing to the being.

"How much longer?" Darkness asked.

"Not much, soon the human will be in our grasps" Nightmare said.

"Then this world will be yours" Void finishes, "The so-called hero will succumb to the pressure, and I will reclaim my powers"

"How dare you?!" Kyanite shouted, unable to contain his anger, "That power does not belong to you! It belongs to no one!"

Void smirk, "That power does belong to me Kyanite, this world needs to learn its rightful place. And you will have a front row seat, big brother"

"Enough Kyanite" Hikari ordered, "Void you know the power belongs to the world, it does not belong to you or any of the Steves. And Nightmare, the boy is stronger than you think even if broken. Do not think just because anyone of you take everything from him that he will crumble. You might be making him stronger in the end"

Nightmare walks to Hikari and kneels, "We're doing this for all of you, this world has been cruelled to you and the only the Darkness can help us get revenge"

Hikari signs and look at the shadowy figure then to Void who was next to Kyanite. 

"I'm doing this for you Hikari" Nightmare says, pressing his head against the Yellow Steve's, "The Yellow Kingdom done both of us wrong, they've done you wrong."

Hikari said nothing, only closing his eyes to avoid seeing his former friend and suppressing those memories.

As for Kyanite and Void.

"Don't be like that Kai, we both know the power belongs to me and the Darkness is the only way we will be safe. We can rule this world as we should!"

"You're crazy to think I would help you in any way" Kyanite signs, "What happened to you? You were my little brother, you're a father for Notch's sake! You haven't seen your own son since he was a mere baby!"

"He means nothing to me" Void growls then says in a bit softer tone, "Only reclaiming my powers and *moves Kyanite's hair* you matter to me. You are the only person I want in my life, big brother"

The Darkness watch from his throne as his servants interact with the Lights of the world, both are near broken, only Hikari and Kyanite are keeping them sane.

"Void, Nightmare" The two look up, "I want the human soon, you can talk to them later"

"Yes master" Then the two teleport away.

Feeling a certain Steve's glare, Darkness smirk at Hikari and it doesn't take long for the hunter to speak.

"Don't think everyone works the same way"

"I don't dear cherry blossom, I just know how to get beings to bend to my will" Darkness chuckled, "Though you and Kyanite are an exception, soon Sabre will join you two and then the real fun will begin. For now, I will see you two later"

Darkness teleport away.

Yellow and Blue look at each other, both silently wishing that Sabre won't succumb to the darkness and find a way to stop it.
